Finite series?

This show is suppose to be a finite series but story moves at snails pace . . . . From two three episodes maya arjun seems to be doing some silly investigation . . . We already know the culprit . . . And saanjh is just thinking the same things from past two three episodes . . . . Spoilers for this week ? Doesn't seem there s to anything expect in terms of story. . . .
