I don't think there's any rule regarding drinking after office hours in the office , or else his other two colleagues wouldn't have agreed for it , plus look at the intention behind his actions , before criticizing him , he's not a habitual drunkard or any thing like that , had we ever seen him drinking before this ?? He just wanted his team mates to open up and bond with him , because they're both terrified of interacting with him , so how's he supposed to work with them as a team and make the presentation ??
Yes , it was unwise of him to drink in the office , but neither he nor the two guys were aware of the presence of CCTV cameras all over the office. Honestly I found that a bit too much . No wonder people feels suffocated in that environment . No one can say or even make a gesture freely for fear of getting recorded and watched, so how'd there be bonding between the colleagues and free fresh working environment ??
He did ask for her permission before entering the meeting after he saw that the two employees whom Maya sacked were actually very happy and rejoicing π and decided to came back.
