It was a good start. Maya's entry with the bodyguards and all was good... a different entry for a FL. The episode showed Maya's no-nonsense, stern side and also some insight into her mother-related issues that she struggles with. The ring-breaking scene was nice... esp the way Maya coldly says that love which cannot be controlled but controls us needs to be shattered!!
Plus, I liked the Arjun-Sanj dynamics as well. And also the contrast shown between Sanj happily sleeping with her parents vs Arjun sleeping alone vs Maya not being able to sleep.
