What nonsense is this? Their reasoning doesn't make any sense.

More like they want to cut costs.

Very sad to know that we won't have a proper ending 😢

Which is why I have started watching Korean drama. Its so good, limited episodes and episodes have been shot in advance and the actors are good! So no issues like ITV.

i started watching kdramas for the same reason.. also even if we follow an on going show we get 2 episodes per week and that too an hour each.. also it ends in 2-3 months as well..

I agree JW should shift to the digital medium. ITV doesn’t deserve her talent.

leave dramas at least it can follow pak drama or Turkish drama format which has 30-40 episodes.. since an episode of Turkish dramas are around 2 hrs itv can have a max of 150 episodes if they air 20min epi everyday.. that's more than enough no.of episodes for a drama..

i randomly saw kahiin toh hoga on youtube and surprised by the fact that it was so fast phased at the start.. sujal and kashish confess their love for each other at episode 12 and i guess rajeev khandelwal was in the show for just around 100 episodes.. nowadays the male and female leads hardly meet by the 12th episode..

i knew sony can never be trusted ( or any indian channel).. i had my heartbreak with the abrupt ending of ek duje ke vaaste by this stupid sony 4 yrs ago. that's why i never saw beyhadh on tv and didn't get much invested in the show..

indian tv channels need to buckle up and leave the trp rat race in these time and date.. nowadays international contents are easily available on the net and people have an option of not turning the tv on at all. so the only way to make people turn on the tv is by bringing content that can at least give competition for web dramas even if they cannot beat it..

the funny thing is indian tv has the money to beat kdramas or pak dramas on an international level but they will never use it in a good way.. kdramas became so big because the country used it as a soft power to endorse Korea.. kpop and kdramas are the main reason for rise in tourism in Korea and indian dramas can be the reason for foreigners to stay far away from India..

This is such bullshit

I'm terribly sad... Been a silent member on this forum since it opened and have enjoyed reading everyone's perspective and excitement for the show.

It already is a difficult time for everyone everywhere and I thought once the situation settles a bit, the cast and crew would resume shooting under strict regulations and a safe environment and we would get a proper ending for our show...

This is so disheartening... neither did the wonderful, amazing cast deserve this nor did we as the audience.

Good or bad, every show deserves an end. They don't think about the viewers at all. It's all about the money they make. 🥱

I’m not fond of Turkish shows. I can’t sit through a 2hr episode, I find half the scenes are just filler. But yeah ITV can definitely follow Pak drama format but I much prefer the K drama approach where they give two episodes a week for an hour and the show ends after 2 months.

Actually Rajveer was in KTH for a year. He left after the show completed 300 episodes.

Exactly. All 3 shows deserve a proper end. I don't watch the other two, but this is stupidity.

Sony was looking for a way to remove the duds from the channel. What better than just not air them when everyone returns to work. Better than trying to shuffle around timings or just pull the show off air even with episodes shot.

This is worse than Sony has ever fallen. Yes they ended shows abruptly by just not airing them before, but at least in those cases the shows were actually not creating much waves on SM. In this case, all 3 shows had a loyal following.

That is an horrible news , it totally unfair for viewers who were invested in the show. I am shocked and taken back by this decision. We won't get to see MayRa again or Maya revenge not fair .

This is what we get for emotionally getting invested in an ITV show ..

As a viewer I am sad and upset but it must be worse for the actors as well to not able to finish the show in an good way. It really a terrible news for them as well given the fact each of them made the characters iconic in such a short time . Maya ,Rudra ,Rajeev will be missed for sure .
