Disappointed with Online TRP

Guys, I know this show is not for TRP aunties but am upset that the online TRP is low when it is supposed to be at least in Top 5. Usually, youth likes this kind of concept and stories. I am just wondering what happened in the past few days that made many not interested to watch.

I have a feeling its the lack of drama. Plus, there was no intense scenes between Maya and Rudra. I think people love the intensity of Maya and Rudra and those two are behaving like an elderly couple. There is no passion, no anger, no intensity and no nothing actually. Plus, Maya's clothes are a disaster. Mother in law dresses up better.

I actually love the way Maya plays her mind games but she has not done any dhamaka in the past episodes plus Rudra is becoming a yes man. I am actually excited with the way this new Vikram plot is turning out. I always wanted to know how Manvi became Maya Jaisingh. I always wanted to know how she became rich and how she changed herself from the innocent damsel in distress to this enigma. I am glad that the makers are answering this question.

In many shows, the makers just make the heroine appear from nowhere and they wont reveal her past and then they will create some drama around her. Seriously, this is a new age story but I am wondering why is there no appeal from the youth. What does the youth one? I guess intensity and passion. Share with me what you guys want.

I am actually making this post as I want the ratings to improve and I know CV stalks this platform so this is just some feedback for them. Another thing I found annoying in past weeks episodes is too many characters in the show. Showing every character being strong is fine but too many characters become annoying. I still don't get the need of Maya stuffing cupcakes unto Ananya's mouth and Anu bringing pillow for Rudra. Cut this unnecessary scenes and give us some drama from either Maya and Rudra or MJ and Antara. I don't want to see mindless jealousy. And is Aditya and Anu still around? So what's their role? They have done nothing so far, no drama and no achievement. I found last weeks episode to be a khichdi. The intense episodes they skim through and the not so intense one they drag.... Seriously CV's! 🤪

I am happy seeing Rudra's angst and anger towards Maya. I really want to know what he will do when he meets her?How will he react knowing that she can't remember a thing? The question is Beyhadh is different so did Maya actually lose her memory or is she pretending or what actually happened?

And truth to be told, JW is so versatile that I even found her to have chemistry with Vikram. I only expect one thing from this show, that at the end of it, I would like to give it a standing ovation. I feel this show has challenged my expectations. I didn't expect it to be so twisted but this is beyond my thoughts.

I miss my Rudra and Maya and I want them back to being angsty, jealous and intense together. Whatever the ending maybe, all die, Maya die or Rudra die, it doesn't matter. The story has to be remembered and many years later, I want audience to compare all other shows with Beyhadh.

BTW, do you all feel Beyhadh is a combination of a few Hollywood stories. Can't put into place which story it is a combination of but anyways, it's a new concept in ITV, they have such brilliant actors and good cinematography..... And the only thing they need is audience love which I am hoping they get.

Thats all from my side. Share withe your thoughts..

Actually last week was more about MJ-Antara and Ananya-Aditya's sasta detective giri . Only high point in last week was Friday's episode where we got Rishi's truth revelation. Youth audience contribue to the online TRP in majority. MayRa scenes gives them a reason to watch the episodes on repeat. We hardly got any MayRa scenes last week and that too for less duration. Repeat value has been decreased for the episodes since couple of weeks and no major movement in the story.

I hope everything will be back to good from this week as the story progressed with new twist and Maya-Rudra's changed dynamics. They need to make MayRa face each other soon till then online TRPs might fluctuate IMO

I think you have summed up everything. Many of these factors are contributing to declining online TRPs.

Personally, I have two big issues due to which I have reduced episode rewatch on LIV...

Lack of passion in the MayRa track:

There is no passion, no anger, no intensity and no nothing actually. Plus, Maya's clothes are a disaster. Mother in law dresses up better.

I absolutely don't understand the lack of attraction between MayRa post marriage. It's understandable that being a victim of abuse, Maya may not be ready for intimacy but where is the intensity and passion of a newly married couple? Where is the desire? Not even a kiss while they were so attracted to each other before marriage. It's illogical.

Rudra's characterization post wedding track:

Well tbh Rudra for me is one of the key attraction of watching this show. I loved the characterization of Rudra and had thought that post wedding he will slowly sense Mayas unease and get digging but it was a sheer disappointment to watch him getting reduced to eye candy and yes man. The perceptive and curious Rudra we saw in earlier episode, the one who smartly tuned the interview into a pr gimmick was lost somewhere. It killed the charm for me.

As for the current track am thoroughly loving it. The intrigue factor is back & Rudra has finally come into action. I hope people will give it a chance!!

I so agree with this. JW is so versatile and has chemistry with everyone. While people are always complaining about something or the other, i am finding the current track interesting.

Lack of MayRa in the last week is the biggest reason! Let’s face it that no matter how good the performances are/were, the thriller episodes are good for 1/2 watch and last week were mainly such episodes, esp between MJ-Antara...in contrast, people love to watch the episodes again and again when MayRa have scenes together, esp the angst and intense ones...look at the Rishikesh track, the confession episodes were just too good...that’s my favorite track as well! The online TRP was the highest during that track coz of MayRa’s intensity...

Anyway I feel like the show is finally back on track...loving the suspense and unpredictability plus waiting for MayRa face off!! Although there were some mind games being played last week, the show needed a huge twist to move the story ahead and this is what’s happening this week!

Unlike what many others think here, I think the current track was always meant to happen...there is a reason why they never showed who saved Maanvi...lots guessed it was Rajiv but if it was supposed to be Rajiv, they would have had shown his face then since he was already an established character...
