characterization of Antara- open for discussion

Hi,

I am trying to analyze Antara's character. Past Antara- She is absolutely fine with her husband having EMAs because he is powerful and she can't control him. she loves him as she keeps narrating that.

she is fine as long as her husband's EMAs are out of her house and not made public.

otherwise, she is further absolutely fine if her husband ruins someone's life, kill the girl and her family. discard them like trash and move on to a new girl.

how she managed to have two kids with this man?

further, she is forcing one of them constantly to respect and love the very same father.

how come she never thought that whether her Daughters-in-law will be safe in this house or not. or she is fine with MJ having an affair with them as well, as long as it's not getting out or her sons don't know about this.

if she knew about Maanvi and instructed MJ to wash her off the plate, that means she definitely knows about Diya as well. So, technically, she is knowingly and willingly sharing her husband with Diya.

because how can she trust MJ and think that they don't have a relationship.

is it money? love? she doesn't look like a woman who is too much into marriage vows. she is fine if her husband kills 100s of girls, rape them, and move on.

the dialogue which disturbed me was- "tumne mera guroor toda hai.." how come maanvi did that? her husband did that with the very first woman he had an EMA with. where is that guroor when it comes to Diya.

or she just blamed her because she can't blame MJ.

in last episode, when she said "tumhari ayyashi ki saja mere bete bhugat rahe hai"- I was like, finally! she said something sensible and next second- "kyonki tumne use zinda chhod diya".. WTH.

worst part is, even after so many years, she has no guilt, no fear, no empathy..

she is like second MJ in the family.

the very son she loved a lot. she doesn't care about his personal life at all. or how tormented he will be at the end.

this family sucks yaar!!

I felt sad for antara in many occasions but now no more..

She lived miserably under MJ choosing to live that life only to safeguard her title of mrs Roy.. that's where the diff is.. rudra wanted her to realise her own potential and name first.. and then the role of a wife.. but she chooses to be mrs Roy over antara and as long as she can hold that title it doesnt matter what MJ does in life..

I felt bad for her when rishi died too.. but she herself is okay with her husband killing someone so that her position is held on.. even back in the day she ordered Maya and her baby to be killed.. so how does one feel bad for her loss of her kid??

The only person I feel bad about rishi death is for Rudra only...because he dint deserve that loss.. but for all others I dont have any ounce of sympathy and for antara defo not..

Antara egging MJ to kill Maya yesterday shows us exactly what she is like. And she wonders why she only has one son left.

this is true. other than Rudra, no one else even deserves to cry for Rishi's death.

this whole thing looks fake. somehow the Roy family characters are not even to convey to the audiences if there is even ounce of pain after Rishi's death.

Antara wanted Rudra to patch-up with MJ after he took a bullet for him but why did someone shoot MJ- no one cares about that.

I somehow feel that the writer has only focused on Maya, Rudra and MJ characters. rest are there but people are not able to relate to them.

I no longer feel bad for Antara 🤣 I thought she was truly abused by MJ. Nah she never had empathy towards Maya 🐷 she enabled her husband to rape women and murder them like a true psychopath The fact she lets Diya drugs her 🤣 Diya is tryna kill you sis.

People would say that Maya got Rishi killed, but I would say that it was the Roy family that got him killed, yes his own family is responsible for his death, Maya was just a medium while his family members were the initiators.

Who did MJ rape? 😲

She's not good with anything or any relation. A big blot on humanity🤢 the way she supports MJ's all types of actions and even advises to kill off other women. She has earned our hatred with all the evil actions and her words.

She claims to love Rudra and wants to protect him...but if she really cared for him Rudra would never have felt alone in the Roy mansion. And as you said she should have thought about Rudra's feelings for Maya also before anything but frankly she doesn't care.

this couple is made for each other. unfortunately, other people are suffering because of his beasty nature.
