So, I am back! (In Koffee with Karan, KJO Styleš), kyunki khoon ki holi aur raite ki rangoli jo phailayi hai, uske baad I think I need a lot of caffeine to digest the episode. Anyway, after a long time, I will get to analyze 3 main characters of the show - Mrityunjay, Maya, and Rudra, because it was all about them this episode. Baaki saare characters were fillers. Apart from that, it has been reinforced again tonight that this show is and will be dark and we have to take it as it is and expect no morality or conscience here. This is a war. For Maya, it is revenge for Mrityunjay it is to protect his family from his karma. So there will be deaths, murders, killings. Mrityunjay kills people without blinking an eyelid, and without remorse. So to tackle someone like him, there is no choice but to be like him. But how Mrityunjay and Maya deal with their conscience is something to watch. Both are killers, both are players, but still, both are different. This war is like a chessboard with Mrityunjay's pawns or rather faces being - Aamir, Antara, Diya, Ankit, Rishi and Maya's faces being Rajiv and Myra. Both have been striking at each other. Maya's blow eliminated Rishi which was in counter to Mrityunjay's blow on Maya's child. Mrityunjay retaliates by eliminating Maya's one face - Mayra. And this is how it will be going henceforth. So brace yourselves people. On that note, here it goes.
Maya - It is shown time and again that whenever Maya allows emotions to get the better of her, either it compromises her identity or it leads to the loss of someone she cares for. And that is what happened. Myra lost her life in an attempt to safeguard Maya. For Maya, that bloodshed is on her. When she sheds blood for justice it's okay, but she doesn't want to push anyone down that road, not even Myra. Maya is dead. She lost enough in life that she died. She is a breathing death to bring death to someone else. But still, within her there are rays of hope that maybe, just maybe she can have a chance at happiness. And each time, Mrityunjay in the face of Ankit or Rudra just quashes those hopes. And pushes her on the path of destruction and vengeance. But every incident has a silver lining. Myra's death will probably turn out to be the much-needed push Maya needs to face her fear and her nemesis - Mrityunjay. Because without facing him, she isn't winning this battle. Maya cannot tolerate any loss anymore, not of people she cares for. So she needs to come to the forefront. Show some skilled badassery that even Mrityunjay hakka bakka reh jaaye. Secondly, it is just my thought but CVs should consider making Maya, Mrityunjay's friend and not enemy. Rudra maybe her access pass in Roy house, but her main target is Mrityunjay. Dushmani ke aad me dosti hi pairon tale zameen khiskati hai. In fact, she should isolate him and kill him. Similar to what Shakuni did with the Kuru clan. She should pit family and brethren against each other and watch the fun. And if need be, kill whoever messes with her plans. One more bonus is, now the way she melts into a puddle at Rudra's advances will be kaput for a while which will just fan the fire in Rudra to pursue her fervently. āŗļø
Rudra - Rudra is an extremist. He hates and loves with extreme passion. And that can be a strength and weakness also. I don't know whether it's silly or stupid, but itni hi thi uski nafrat? Matlab, itne me hi uski saari nafrat bhaag chuthi? I am just trying to understand here is Mrityunjay was not shot so bad that he lands up in ICU in the first place, and here he is melting like a puddle for Mrityunjay. Anyway, as I had mentioned previously, Rudra hates Mrityunjay Roy, not his father. He still loves his father and that is what resurfaced tonight with him getting shot. But the way it was executed, Rudra's beyhadh nafrat just got watered down to ek hormonal teenager's beyhadh gussa to me.š¤ Mrityunjay did not do something to be forgotten or forgiven easily, and one bullet in his body just undid everything? If the CVs show that Rudra has mellowed down a little, but not forgotten everything then his stand would have been believable, but now it has been ruined. For me, it is another dent in his character. But there is a silver lining here too. With Mrityunjay sealing his victory of bringing Rudra onto his side, he actually unlocked that side of Rudra which used to love passionately and did not hate 'love'. So now that he has forgiven Mrityunjay, it will not take too long to embrace his feelings for Maya either. And then we have to watch out for "passionate-wala, possessive-wala, junoon-wala"ā¤ļø Rudra pursuing Maya, and Maya trying with all her might to escape his advances, but he will not lose in love to Maya. Watch out Maya for tempestuous Rudra coming your way.
Mrityunjay - Ye sirf Rudra and Rishi ka hi nahi, sabka baap hai. Kitni nafasat se planning ki hai that Rudra bina kisi struggle, jhagda ya gusse ke aa gaya uske lapete me. So cleanly he turned an act of murder into an act of self-defense. Brilliant MJš. I have to give it to you for that. That is why it is so necessary for Maya to come to the forefront. Battling from the shadows is not enough to battle him. Maya has to come to the devil's lair to get even. This man did not lift a finger apart from shooting Myra, and saari support iske taraf chali gayi. Maya you seriously need to buck up. Koi option nahi hai tumhare paas. Apart from that Rudra going all the way to Hrishikesh to pursue Maya does not sound like only his thinking. Mrityunjay loves his son, however, he does, but he does. I think somewhere Mrityunjay will push Rudra to go get his girl because Roys don't lose. And if I think from Mrityunjay's POV, he must have thought - its Maya Jaisingh, an accomplished, classy, sophisticated and rich author cum businesswoman - uske ghar ke barabari ki hai, then why not. But wait till he sees who Maya Jaisingh is. Let's see how he reacts then.
MayRa - Myra ke death se Mayra ke equation pe raita phail gaya. The problem here is Rudra's faith in Maya became stronger, but Maya's faith in him just shattered then and there, when she saw Mrityunjay Roy's son and not Rudra. Maya saw a bit of herself in Rudra, someone who has been shattered by love and by his own. Someone who lost his baby brother. She saw a kindred spirit in Rudra. Her sympathy turned into empathy, which was almost on the verge of blooming into love, but it got nipped in the bud. Rudra's sudden outburst of emotions for his "Dad" pushed Maya back to where she was before - in darkness. Her ray of hope just diminished then and there. But Maya, it was rather silly of you to assume that Rudra would feel sorry for a stranger Myra and not pain for his brother and father. I mean come on. With Rudra, he has found his soulmate in Maya. He is addicted to her presence, her care, her support. The fact that she chooses him over anything or anyone is what he finds attractive in her. Whatever he asks of her, she gives it to him. He wants her to choose him every time, and he is waiting for her to choose him. Unfortunately, he blew it up himself unintentionally. But I feel something is going to happen which will push him to take matter into his own hands - I want to know what that is.
Well, that is from me for tonight. Let's hear yours!
