Dialogues can be interpreted many different ways, and we still don't have a clear idea of maya's plans. There are other ways to take revenge than shedding an innocent's blood. Maya jaisingh was portrayed as a human who is barely alive. There is still goodness within her that she tries very hard to suffocate but we saw glimpses of light occasionally. Maya Mehrotra was a devil but Maya jaisingh is not.
