And both will regret it for the same reasons - scarred by love. Before Rudra even approaches her regarding the kiss, she may only become aloof and that would drive Rudra over the edge. I totally agree with the bold bit. She screaming for help could be a facade. Come on, the 1st episode began with Maya drowning herself in a pool of mud, she shouldn't be freaking out. I think that was only a tactic to fool CCTV Ankit.

Rudra doesn't know its a game. Hence he has no choice whatsoever in the matter. Like you pointed either way he will be tied to his heart to choose Maya. Maya even though having feeling for Rudra know she is playing a hard game and it will need sacrifice. She can destroy her heart for this battle. So she also doesn't have a choice for right now. She can only use these feelings to use Rudra as a shield.

@bold As much i have noticed, Maya can go to any length but only if she plans it. When unexpectedly she finds herself in tough situations, it sacres her. But after a moment of gathering her wits, she uses those same tough situations and manipulates them as per her wish. So she could both be scared and then she could easily manipulate it in front of Rudra and Rishi. She is not a great game planner but she is a quick manipulator for sure.

Sorry to jump in the discussion

but here is how I think it will play out:

Maya gets followed by the new MJ Jassoos

She masks her brave front- displays a facade and seeks for help

Rudra and paltan come there

Save her and go to her house

There Rishi hugs her- might be a dare or just something in the game that allows Rishi to show his concern (and Maya let’s Rishi hug her to unsettle Rudra- which it does- makes him jealous)

Rudra gets jealous hurt

Unable to control his emotions goes after Maya

They share a kiss

Both Rudra nd Maya realise what just happened push each other for their own reasons

Rudra hurt because he realises he’s falling in love with her but he can’t because love hurts (well he’ll be proven right about that later though!)

Maya might justify everything as the part of her plan-revenge even though she might have actually started feeling for Rudra ( This point just because I’m a #MaRa)

P.S. assuming she cleans up well coz she is in the same dress

She let Rudra touch her intimately in the Party for her ulterior game plane, to avoid Rishi-Maya-Rudra encounter. Here also she will do it to get him more close to her. Her reaction to the whole thing when she was turned around pretty much showed that she didn't expect to be affected by that. In the precap, it looks like the game is over and they both are just having a conversation which turned into something more and they both kind of got swayed by their emotions. They don't appear to be completely drunk. Moreover, they way Maya was clutching on rudra's shirt during that kiss speaks volumes about how much rudra affects her. Look at her with rishi. You can see that she is playing a game and manipulating him and she is not at all affected with anything related to rishi but rudra keeps on surprising her and she constantly has to modify her plans or sometimes she just loses herself and then comes back to her senses and backs off. Rudra has already shown jealousy quite a few times now. Maya is clearly giving into the dare and hugs rishi to make rudra jealous. It is a two birds and one stone kind of thing. Rudra is a picture of jealousy in that scene.

Totally! I think Rudra has a very apparent possessive streak and that platonic hug might set him off!

Also, if the kiss happens after him coming to rescue her from Ankit.. they might’ve shared few moments of vulnerability and that made him feel a little more intensely for her.
