Hello, people so this is my very first post over here. So I ambit nervous and excited at the same time. I hope you guys like it.

So let’s discuss the character arcs and the minimal details we saw till now, so guys hope you liked it

So first of all; we all not all but more than 90% of people now are watching beyhadh just for Maya.

So let’s first look into one of the most iconic characters; MAYA; be it MEHROTHRA or JAISINGH what we all love is Maya.

Why Maya is so iconic?

Yes talking about this not because she is stylish, she is a synonym of empowerment, she is bossy and all but in all truest senses we love Maya is just to satisfy our alter ego(. Alter ego here implies the things we may not do in real life but we can relate them in these characters)(alternative personality we thrive for)

We may love someone the way Maya loved Arjun but we restricted ourselves, but we saw Maya and then she gave such satisfaction to our soul. Maya is someone we love forever because unlike any other female leads in any other show we didn’t see her budging to any problem she had faced but every person has a weak point and that is the emotional trauma.

And coming to the second season what we are here to discuss it:

In Beyhadh 2, Bhagavad Gita reference is all we know but we can take out another reference to Maya that is kali ma.

We know world started from kali ma; sab kehthe hai na kaali ma hi Hamari shuruaath hai aur wo hi anth hai. And coming to the story is Maya hai is khel ki shurath aur ending bhi wohi dega. And here her roop after this is the shaanthi roop Woh hai Parvathi Banega aur uske bad Hamari Shiva (Rudra ) ke Sangam ho jayega.

so lets discuss about the further developments in my next posts, hope you like it

Hi.. welcome to the forum...

Actually some of this has been discussed in the forum already..

U are right.. Maya is durga/kali.. but also one of the things that the ppl in the forum pointed out was the fact that this is also maya ki mahabharat...

Maya is also Krishna.. and also the draupadi here... draupadi is said to be a incarnation of durga as well..Maya like draupadi faced all kinds of humiliation and she is out to revenge her abuse..she also spoke about agni in her first epi which again kind of depicts the same...and all the traits if Rudra are in line with the pandavas.. he is skilled like arjun, angry like bheema, self righteous like yudhishtir and sharp and focussed like nakul nakul sahdev and she is gonna use him to fight this war for her..

Yes this is a combo of the story of mahakali and draupadi..

Hi! Welcome to the Forum. Like the previous member said, a lot of discussions on the same have already happened and still happen. 🤗

Yeah, Maya is ironic coz of her obsession. That's how they promote it and that's how they keep her intact. As far as Gita references are concerned, you could probably read up some past discussion threads in this Forum, some wonderful thoughts have been presented. In my opinion, her lessons from the Gita are skewed and one-sided to suit her experience and her life. She's justified her past torture (it may have been justifiable, may not have been) and she's now making the concerned people pay constantly asserting that it is justice. Whether it is indeed justice, or Maya is being very excessive and has exaggerated her troubles are yet to be seen.

Welcome to the forum🤗

Yes Maya has the Kali/Durga storyline as well as the Mahabharata storyline. I hope Rudra is able to reach to her humane side, calm her, fill her with love and happiness!
