On that note, shuru karte hai. Chocolate-vanilla land se bahar aa jao. Kal aur bhi baaki haiđ...Today, we got a glimpse of Maya Jaisingh's biggest weakness - her fear. And that is also the main highlight of tonight's episode - fear.
Rudra's fear - His fear is his loss of control to his father. He does not want even the shadow of his father to fall on his business or his life. That is because it is the only thing he can call his own. Probably his father took something way too precious from him - so the loss of control to his father is something he cannot let happen. The only way he can do that is through Maya. He is willing to lose to Maya, but not to his father.
Mrityunjay's fear - His fear too is his loss of control on his son - which he terms it as concern or love. He is trying tooth and nail to mend differences with Rudra, and Rudra does not want to. But he is Rudra's father. He will not give up, he will not lose this battle against his own son. So what he does -eliminate the reason itself - the writer. The writer is Maya Jaisingh - or so what she calls herself. The reason I believe that he does not recognize Maya are many. One, there are so many Mayas in the world, does not mean it is that Maya. Second, the way he destroys people and damages them, he does not think anyone will have the audacity to come for Round 2 with him. The way he destroyed Maya, he will not think even once that, such a weakling of a woman will come to do - do-do haath. And thirdly, he has a God complex, where he plays the God to women here - have you seen his household - Antara is mentally weak, Diya is we still don't know what and his mother, her saying anything does not matter. Jo banda auraton ko aise dabaa ke rakhta ho, wo kisi aurat ko apna equal samajh hi nahi sakta - not even an opponent. And with Ananya, he is being nice because she is his passage to Rudra - if by any chance she becomes 'bahu', do you think he will be the daddy cool, he shows himself to be? I think not.
Rishi's fear - I will not term it as fear, but definitely he is somewhere fearful, agar Maya haath se nikal gayi to. He does not like to be ridiculed or made fun of before the women of his family because of Maya. He does not like taking ignored very lightly either. And, what I hate the most is, he doesn't understand boundaries. What are those women in the family doing? Nothing. They have unsuccessfully taught him nothing. His grandmother tried though, Ladki jab na kahe to uska matlab na hi hota hai. But alas, sense did not prevail, because no one, not even Mrityunjay bothers to pay heed to his mother.
Maya's fear - The most talked about highlight of this episode. Honestly, achcha laga. Achcha laga ye jankar, that wo puri tarah se ice nahi hui hai, ab bhi hai usme wo saare emotions, jo insaan ke hote hai. And it is important to show these instances. You can do all the planning and plotting of the world, but you cannot always get your way. Kabhi kabhi, nature also comes in the way of your plans - even if they are not revenge plans - all you can do is adapt as quickly as possible. Maya fears people and exposure because she was torn apart by these very people. Nakedly exposed in the worst light possible, to be tormented, humiliated and shamed. They forced her to retreat into the shadows, and now these very shadows are her strength because she fears the light, she fears positivity, she fears goodness. This is because she feels that all these things will make her weak and vulnerable like the last time. But, that is what her Krishna is trying to teach her. If she wants to fight the battle of justice, she has to come out in the light, in the open, among people. She can no longer avoid the light and embrace the darkness. She has to adapt to light, just like she embraced the darkness. What did Maya think? Her fight for justice will be so easy. No battle is easy. She will win some, she will lose some. But ye to Krishna ka prasad hai na Maya? Tumhe to wohi accept karna padega. Every battle is a lesson for Maya as well. Which her Krishna will teach her.
Mrityunjay's fear is like purane pyaar ki tees which has converted into fear. She can sense his presence. So you can imagine, what hell he must have given her at one point in time. Going by what Maya told Rishi, she wants someone, jo usko dil me chupaaye, aur logo ki nazron se dur rakhe. That was the Maya within her talking. The last time, the one she expected it from gave her the opposite. But this time is different. Why? Because this time she has Rudra. One, Rudra understands what equality is, he can out-sass her sometimes, but he will not treat her like shit. Two, Rudra understands pain and fear, which is why he can understand her psychology, he can ease her when it's needed. And Three, he can guard her against Mrityunjay. Probably bolster her courage to face him. Maya may be teaching a lot of things to Rudra, but Rudra will also teach her a thing or two of fighting - especially internal battles. Both can be each other's strength because both of them know how it feels to be weak, and both do not like it. Also, I felt that Maya is just Maya with Rudra - no mystery, no chuimui, no damsel-in-distress - she is just broken and battered Maya - which is putting up a strong front. That is what will mostly draw Rudra towards her.
Coming to Ananya and Rudra's friendship. I am sure, it will not be anything like S1. If Ananya influences Rudra in any way that hinders Maya's cause, then Maya will react - keyword here being waqt aane par. Ananya cannot really stop Rudra from falling for Maya, because love is something which isn't forced. But Ananya can definitely stop Rudra from falling into her trap, which Maya cannot afford to happen. But I am sure, Ananya is not very clingy, when she will deem necessary, she will back off. And I am really rooting on Rudra and Ananya, to pull Maya out of the shadows and help her in this fight.
On a lighter note, Rudra ko bas flirt karni hai Maya se, like ab kya shart hai...shaadi karni hai. Did she say anything like that, What is into him? Tujhe shaadi karni hai kya?đ
Enough of my rambling, ab tum log apne thoughts bataođ
