Believe me when I say this - there wasn a single girl who watched this show n didn like Rajeev. Even HC admits Sujal was an iconic character. Sujal made Rajeev who he is today.

Hey u know what...After reading ur post...I went through wikipedia for kahin to hoga...Nd I read the plot...
No offense...But it was again a typical ekta show( I'm happy that he left that show mid between.😆

Before bp...I had no idea Abt Indian tv serials...I mean...I used to watch few , with unique plot... Otherwise I prefer to listen songs or watching movies.
Bepanaaah changed many things for me, I came to know forum for first time, joined here, analysed things, I had never done this before, nd hence in past months I learned that first impression is the last impression for Indian audience. When Salman does movies like kyunki or tere Naam, movie doesn't work. But when he comes with remakes, it easily earns corores.Amitabh bacchan may have transformed himself as an actor with very much brilliance, but he will be remembered for movies like zanzir or deewar.
Rajeev Khandelwal was good in kth, but acted brilliantly in amir. Believe me when I say it, he was too good😆
Nd same goes with other movies like soundtrack, fever, table no. 21...But all the movies didn't work well as anticipated...

Our mind always remember the special things, to which our special memories are related, nd hence what I think about saujal or prem , or what u think about prem, actually doesn't matter😆 if a large part of audience, who gave their special attachment to show, say that they were good, they were good.😆

Nd after all, ekta Kapoor is ekta Kapoor, love her or hate her, she gave tv the stars we know today, be it rajeev, harshad, Karan...List is very long.
Nd as a matter of fact, I started to follow rajeev bcoz of ekta webseries😆

@bold - dear Lord! Did u hear me praising the story? 😆 Nothing unusual n like all EK shows this was cliched but what clicked was not even Rajeev but Sujal. That kind of frenzy was not seen before n even Rajeev hadn expected the character to do so well. His movies esp Amir is something else n I wont insult it by comparing it to EK show 🤣 I loved him in Haq Se too. He was good in it. Surprisingly EK's web platform has some amazing shows (barring some erotic ones). If u havent then u should give it a go. U will love it esp Haq Se, Bose, Test Case, Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai etc. ITV? In recent times there has barely been a show that offers something different. It does initially but after a while it joins the long list of cliched shows. TBH I criticised even BP heavily though I love it 😆 n this forum tagged me a hater 😆 Thing is I am outspoken. Even if I love something, if I sense it has a flaw (purely my POV) I voice it out.

Wow, this is an interesting thread. 😆 I had actually seen HC on TV for the first time as Raghav only for five minutes, and then I forgot about it after appreciating his acting there.. My mom used to watch it. Then I started watching BP from the second week with no expectations, and a girl-crush on Jenny. Only after a few more episodes, I realized what a brilliant actor HC is and how he was elevating the level of Aditya Hooda's character from that of an angry young man by adding more subtleties. Then when I went back to catch up with his previous characters, I stumbled upon Raghav and remembered watching him then. Now, I am a fan for life. 😊

Isn't it a fact that most of us came to BP Because of Jenny...😆 nd then we stucked to bp bcoz of Harshad...😆
Just an observation😆

I was a small girl at that time, so no idea about the craze...It makes me to realize the fact that whatever girls watch the TV shows for their crush😆
Thank god h didn't praise the show...😆
EK is doing good on webseries platform...I did watch the two shows haq se nd broken but beautiful. Both are amazing. I never tried to watch khne ko hamsafar Hai Because I m tried up of.EMA Concept...
Yea too critisized bp story wise...But
It always happens in indianshow...isnt it? So I'm used to.😆.

There are phases in BP when the story goes off track or tracks not in sync with the main story are introduced ...I feel those are due to channel interference but they really destroyed the original essence of BP. But as @Tyshal says this is part and parcel of ITV. It is also the reason so many of us stay away from television shows. It was the sheer brilliance of the introductory episodes ...the story, the direction and the star power that drew so many of us to television every night. Till the channel wrecked what could have been a remarkable show.

It looked like his head was fixed to his body n it lacked movement in general 😕 That angst, feeling helpless - it just wan't convincing. At least it could not move me. Maybe I am critical. TBH there are very few performances on ITV that actually left an impact on me and most were from the 90's shows (caught their reruns much later on TV since I was a kid then). None of the current shows can ever come close to them. After a long time I could only relate to Aditya Hooda n it was all bcoz of HC's acting ⭐️

As for the character, have u seen Ashish as Ram in SKR? He was excellent. Ram is a very subtle character but Ashish's portrayal was bang on. So for me its not about a subtle or intense character. Its about what u do with the character even if ur bound by a character scope. I know many will murder me here for saying this but for the life of me I will never be able to understand what was with HC and Aditi pairing that fans went berserk n annoyed Ekta to an extent that she decided never to cast them again 😆

Agree with the Harshad/Aditi pairing. It did not impress me either.Aditi is not a patch up to the standards HC sets ...rather bland in my opinion. In fact i have said this before that till BP Harshad never had a FL who could compete with him ...and that includes even Shriti Jha...like you I too will incur other's wrath for saying this but the truth as I see it as they all drew from his prowess as an actor of calibre. They grew with him and because of him. They are all pretty faces with not much acting firepower...till Jenny arrived on the scene with acting chops to match his scene for scene. That was one of the major positives of BP...for once the FL & ML were at par with each other. And that was magical.
