No Zoya was not a downfall for jen. If she picked up a similar role to maya again, where's the versatility in her?? People who weren't happy about her winning gold awards or nominated for jury are just frustrated insecure souls.

Her Beyhadh director said in an itv just a week ago, that he has a historical series and if she agrees then they can plan the project. The ability to easily transit into different roles is for the producers to see. Easy transition into different roles is her speciality

See Harshad, he was straight in answering that career wise as of now it is like blank paper.

Jenny breathed life to Zoya and half of this character's fame is because she played it with so much conviction. Rest the director of the script brought the best of her with how he wanted Zoya and she did full justice to it. In no way, Zoya can be downfall of her career. Her transition from Maya to zoya in such short time was sheer brilliance.

She got critics right. She won for this role. I don't care if she won populae or not. She won and that's what matters the most. Actors deserved awards for their roles-it came early to Jenny and late to the rest. Forum celebrated for both nonetheless.

Zoya is a woman who , from being naive, sheltered and weary from the world rose to become an independent, fierce and bold woman but with the same innocence. Aditya's love made her that way, the same way she made him trust love again.

No character of Jennifer has such shown such amazing growth curve. Zoya's character was an art and Jennifer more than justified her.

Jennifer definitely deserved a win. Period.

Atleast Zoya character got a award in Gold which is on same. Level as ITA.

I would have been pissed if she had not won any for portraying shades of Zoya. But she did. In fact everyone in this show won their awards here and there. Had Jenny won yesterday, we would have been accused of foul play. So, no matter earlier or later, all of them won. That's a thing to party.

Lena Headey hasn't won any for Cersei and Courtney for Monica and that still bothers people and everyone knows the acting of these two in those characters.

True. And in award shows, they never give all the mainstream awards to one show.

Jennifer doesn't need an award for her work, the love that Zoya received was the reward. nd moreover, Jenshad are not thirsty for appreciation, they are above and beyond that.
