Was Jennifer not even nominated for the ITA Awards?????

I can't find anything online about it! 😲

It is IMPOSSIBLE to think she would not have been considered for an award this time.

She won it for Saraswatichandra and Beyhadh. And now, with her super-sensitive, lovely interpretation of Zoya, she should have been awarded one too - or at least have been on the Nominations List.

Did we fans not vote enough for her... or what???😕

She was nominated for both critics and popular. It's really sad she dint win. She deserved it more but ITA has always snubbed the post popular actress with the popular award ironically. Can't fathom SC winning over Jen.

she was nominated...it just sucks that she didnt win. but i'm taking comfort in the fact that jenny won best actress at golden awards...thats something at least.

sorry to all divyanka fans...but i think jenny should have gotten best actress jury. i watched yeh hai mohabattain and i LOVE DT...she is a natural...but i havent seen any growth in the character. zoya as a character required more acting and i think she should have gotten at least jury award.

but i don't want to start any fights with DT fans...i genuinely do like her...i just felt jenny deserved jury more for this role

I agree with u and yes DT was good in YHM but as u said there is no character growth. It's the same and though I love her portrayal of Ishita there is nothing extraordinary about her acting. Jenny deserved it more coz she proved her versatility as an actor with Zoya right after playing Maya.

yes very true! in the yeh hai mohabatein initial episodes...DT was great...she drew at the heart strings because she couldn't conceive and wanted a child so badly...and then the whole param sexual assault track was amazing too...but i really dont have any other memorable moments of the character since then.

zoya's pain, the vulnerability, then her anger towards adi, her sympathy for him too, and finally her strength to move on and fall in love...it was all so lovely...the character kept growing with the show

I think ITA is anyday more reputed than gold. In gold she won critics, I somehow feel she deserved popular. ITA has always snubbed her for popular. It sucks. And let's get it clear, a lot of ppl from BP itself were not happy with Jen getting nominated for critics and popular. They never acknowledged her as much as they do in HC's case. I hope Jen takes s better role in her next something like Maya. I do feel Zoya was s downfall after Maya atleast career wise.

i think HC got so much attention because it was his comeback show...plus he hasn't won an award in many years...thats why people were fighting so much for him in particular...

as for zoya...i don't think it was a downfall for jenny...she already did a maya...and it became iconic...if she were to do something similar then it would have been the same role...for her to go from maya to zoya is very commendable because the characters are poles apart.

Zoya was the perfect comeback character for Jenny after Maya, it never will be a poor choice for her because just look at what she's become associated with after tonight...if Behyadh gave her critical acclaim, BP is giving her (and HC) commercial success

Maya was a heavy, dark and grey character...anything similar would have been akin to typecasting herself, nor would it have made such an impact the second time around...

By taking up Zoya - Jenny not only cemented herself as versatile, considering she did both roles back to back...but that she's also capable of igniting sizzling chemistry in a romantic role...Adiya is everything she didn't have with Arjun in Behyadh.

I can understand disappoint in her not winning because she definitely deserved all the awards for BP however, Zoya will never be a character causing a downfall for her career.

Zoya as a character was sheer poetry straight out of Faiz's couplets but alas poetry is not understood by many. When Jen will look at this character after many years she will look at it with pride.
