Bepannah My thoughts~ ep 185 29. 11.18 Something out of Nothing !
Both convince themselves there is nothing between them other than indifference. But as soon as Adi and Zoya confront each other the history between them churns up past anger. He has a go at her and she bites his head off. He hates to admit it but the firebrand Zoya is back in better fighting fit form than ever before! As in the past both at present too, both provoke much reaction in each other. Zoya knows he hasn't forgotten the past, that she abandoned him. Well she reminds him that she too holds grudges against. Interestingly enough nothing has changed between them. Indifference is replaced by hatred! between the two off them. There is a thin line, however between hate and love... But their Bepannah love now seems a far cry.. Their pasts have always played a significant role in their present. Back in the day, the affinity of both being cheated by their infidel partners, brought healing ,love and marriage between them. At this point in time, their first confrontation presently after going their separating ways , regurgitates their recent past, of Rajveer's incident. Its too deep an emotional wound for both to forget.
Episode reminds me fondly of their countless past spates with each other. Half given the chance both Adi and Zoya would have carried on. But for Anjana's timely intervention , Adi has to back off as Anjana is clearly protective of Zoya and harshly dismissive of her son. Adi isn't quite finished with this angel of his mother, none other than Zoya.. bane of his life!
Its expected that he would remind her how she left him, taunt her, how come she returns? Zoya breaks it down into pieces for him, just like she used to before, whenever he went into a strop refusing to heed to the sense she used to show him. Zoya notices, he is back to his old ways of being short, abrupt and down right rude to others! In a way Adi , we see has it coming! So she gives him straight! Had it not been for Ma's sake! she would never cross paths with him again! its been a while some one back chatted to him! no wonder he loses his rag further with her! in fact Adi realizes he is in fact, cornered by both Zoya and his mother! she is here not for him! but to provide service to his mother who only responds to Zoya!
Tempers flare between them, he clearly feels she despite the best he puts in to care for his mother.. seems to feel that his money and might is just isn't good enough! in anger it becomes a battle for him as he feels she is putting him down. Its no surprise to prove his might, he tells Zoya he's not having her looking after his mother! she hisses back , he can't look after himself how can he make a claim he can take care of his mother? Adi too says hurtful things to her ,that a woman who left her own parents! how is she expected to look after someone else s mother? in short they say the nastiest of things to each other! They make a difference to each other!
Zoya is not entirely surprised that he is the same Aditya, who goes off the rails, refuses to see others well wishes; rejects people's sincerity just so long as he gets his own way however unreasonable it appears! She thwarts his command of disallowing her to nurse his mother by insisting that she will moot for the idea of shifting Anjana to the hospital! Adi was not having it! The matter escalates to the degree when, in the end Zoya has no choice when it comes to her patient's welfare but to threaten Adi with a court order against him for criminal negligence! She literally pulls him apart, for keeping a loaded gun within reach of someone like Anjana!
Thus Anjana's care does become a contentious issue between them. Zoya is forced to return his anger! with her own anger,based around past events and falling out. Zoya s patience does give way where Adi is concerned. She too refuses to work at Hooda house due to the abrasive and abrupt manner of the lord of the manor!
Adi too thinks he show her he can get on without her help! But what he fails to take on board is that his mother will regress in the recuperation she is making!
Anjana handling a loaded pistol! Is a harrowing incident! Yet only Zoya, when she hears about it is the one who flies to the rescue! Clearly Adi too struggles to pacify her! its Zoya who takes the pistol, calms Adi's mother and puts her to bed! Its sad where the mentality imbalanced Anjana asks Zoya, that she knows Adi was nasty to her.. and that he ordered her to leave! But Anjana makes Zoya promise that she will not leave her! Anjana invariably becomes the reason for Zoya to justify her presence ay Hooda house!
Both Zoya and Adi in a way are forced to compromise on Anjana's terms. Such irony , in the past she tried every conspiracy possible to keep them apart. Now she acts as the magnetic force that attracts them towards each other.. even though, each others presence appears to repels them!
So much hurt and anger resides in Zoya too against Adi.. due to his surly attitude, especially when he declines her services to his mother. Zoya cusses him, he was never a good son, a good brother or a good.. she bites her tongue at the word husband, for it could mean both to her and Pooja !
Yet again, even so harshly Zoya reminds him, he could do away from blaming others! Will not prove himself right! She confronts him he himself never puts in the effort to proving himself good! Its like he shirks away from the very thought! He'd rather be seen as a baddie! Zoya is Harsh to him! as he was equally cruel to her when he roars looking at her makes her blood boil!
But Zoya actually listens to what his mother says about Adi caring for her! Anjana cries, its like being in prison! he never has the time for her! it's the patient herself complaining !only Adi is too stubborn to admit that Zoya truly is the one who can look after his mother despite all that happened between them! she shows him, its not about how he thinks, that she's come to Hooda house to prove his incompetency and her perfection! Its more about the need of the hour! What's best for his mother!
Mind you, Zoya too is unhappy at lashing out at him. In his absence she goes to their room.. its woven by cobwebs of the past.. some happy memories, some covered, barely visible, wedding photographs and vows.. she sadly recalls how he vowed he would fight with her annoy her, than make up with her! but never leave her! Zoya covers the vows and leaves the room.. only to face commotion in the lounge.. Mili agitated Adi is untraceable!
Both the Hooda andSiddiquis have had their share of sorrows. Via Zoya's FB's, we get a birds eye view of all the hardships she went through! to get to where she is now.. an intern in clinical psychology. It hasn't been easy for her either. As after she broke up with her father, he developed cardiac problems. Waseem we see is more mellowed and toned down in his outlook of life now.He wants to rectify mistakes , made to his family, if life allows him.
All the three women in his life ensure that Waseem is not anxious about issues. Zoya's FB shows, how her issue with Aditya takes away her fathers peace. As such Zoya decides to make something out of her broken life, aims to give joy and stability to her parents. only reveal as much to her parents, that will give peace to them! Her resilience and keenness to start life afresh, academically makes her pass in flying colours! Her commitment and dedication in everything she does gives her placement in the very city she avoids! Her dean, tells her, that her dedication and compassionate attitude will take her a long way! Where she will be a boon for the people around.
Thus destiny, has its own calling. Once more she has lands up at, the door step , of her home where she was turned out from. The episode shows, there are many reasons for her not to leave Hooda house yet again! Whether its duty, commitment or the sense of being wanted? Zoya is still unsure about. She had cried enough tears for Aditya Hooda.. he loved her and then mistrusted her! no more tears now, only tackling life.. will she stay or leave?
That collision they both have at the bottom of the stairs! is an action replay of many falls they have had! Times when she edawkwardly land on Adi! and vice versa! Today with Zoya flat on the floor and Adi accidently atop her.. is more a doing of fate! They had to been hurled at each other.. forced to stay briefly stunned by staring into each others eyes! Forced to read the words of their very souls.. Bepannah ,Bepannah , pyar hai tumse..
The emotionally bruised and enraged Adi storms off and speeds of in his car! he is alone with himself. A part of him justifies his ongoing rage at Zoya . She cheated him and then left him! .. and then from the back of his mind comes the tiny voice.. if she had walked out on him! did he bother to go after her ,and bring her back? he is in a quandary .. whom should he blame? Zoya or himself? She was the same Zoya he knew.. bringing home truths before him! why did he give her rights over him? and prevent her from using them? as if they never existed? hamlet53 30.11.18
Are pardons sought and forgiveness found? Does Bepannah love remain between Adi and Zoya ? Loved the episode. For when fighting takes place between Adi and Zoya, the reason for truce becomes evident! Loved seeing Jenny and Harshad on screen! Bless you both for giving many Bepannah joy..
