Just saw a clip now. Tere Liye too ended abruptly because of issues between SP and Balaji PH. That show was doing great in Trp and was very popular too (apparently HC got his first ranking on IF during that time only). It's written on Wikipedia page of Tere Liye too on how it ended.

On the last day of shoot of that show, everyone was crying like babies, especially the director who was crying as if someone very close to him died (he looked so upset since it was his dream project too).

I can't even imagine same happening again. No one deserves it neither the cast and crew nor we fans. It took me 4 years to get over IPK and if BP ends abruptly without a proper closure and with all the abrupt ending or open ends, I don't know how much time will it take to get over it. This new track looks very promising and fresh and gives the fresh vibes. It in no way can be rushed in 5 episodes.

Why are Indian channels so unprofessional. Why is it hard to let the show complete it's original run before taking any further decision just like how they do in US by renewing seasons as per the ratings, esecially when show has a crazy popularity and following. And the stupid ages old TRP system is what they rely on whicn in no way is true reflection of viewership.

Here idiotic stuff run for years and good shows ends in few months.i know i m stupid to say but all shows i love end abruptly.

You are not the only one. I hardly love Indian shows and when I love them, they shut stop without closure or are ruined for stupid reasons.

Exactly. This is height of unprofessionalism why can't we have fixed time period alloted to a series just like the overseas market. Above all why isn't creative freedom ever taken into consideration? The petition for reviewing this entire TRP system is rather a great move. This effect of all this is vast as good artists are left with no other choice but to bend their knees to mediocre populist scripts. Indian audience are pushed into watching cheap sensationalism. I mean there was a time when ITV had shows like Alpaviram and look what we have turned into! Tv is filled with snake people, daayans and blue babies.

I had to rant...

Tere liye was a fantastic show i loved it ...the ensemble was incredible just like bepannaah ...i dont comprehend why such shows meet such ends😕

Exact reason why I dont watch ITV shows.

Trust me, I'm a serious drama freak.I watch every kind of series out there.But it's so tough with indian shows.IPK had that abrupt ending and now bepanaah.Ironically those 2 were the only shows I regularly watched on itv.

Right now, I'm on the phase, "Why me???????

Watched tere liye at first , loved the whole friendship essence but ekta ruined it really in a nice way with that pregnancy drama like always.Now, it was also the channel's job??I just thought as usual balaji crap.

I thing sony is a better choice for a show other than those senseless and out of reality channels.

Indian channels are unprofessional. Why is so much importance given to a rating system that only has 30K meters installed in a few selected cities? What kind of a way is this to measure ratings it's bullshit. Online/ international popularity concept is unheard of by these channels 🥱 it's absolutely pathetic that in 2018, regressive shows are being kept on air for 6-7 years and all shows with potential are shut down within a year or less. Even if they want to end a show, atleast give it a proper closure by allowing the PH to show everything.

Harshad got first rank in IF during kis desh. I remember celebrating in that forum.

What happnd to tereliye is something which should never happn to any show. What happning with BP is not even 10% of it. Show was good and got good trp too. Still due to pure rift btw show went off air. And worst thing is harshad didnt got chance to play dream portion of the role which is pagal onu. Its really horrible. Atleast with bp hc got chance to play various shades of aditya properly.

Infact kis desh also suffered due to channel ph rift. Star plus shifted kis desh to afternoon slot becz of the issue with ekta when the show was getting good trp. Even it did good job at afternoon slot in trp but channel shut it off. But good thing is that it lasted for almost 2 years so thats fine.

Honestly this is why i feel heartbroken for harshad. He is extremely hardworking and talented but luck is something god is not allowing to stay with him long. :(
