We all got fixated with this show, we had so much fun and banter amongst ourselves and then the reality hit us in the face- end of Bepannaah! They did it the wrong way and i'll never forget that.

You can get passed this, maybe take a break from the show and rewatch it in a few days time. Personally i've not been watching it on time but several hours later. A way to wean off the show. Its working but when you come onto IF, we feel so much sorrow and pain because we are all suffering it.

Everyone here is amazing and I wish we could have had longer on this show but we have no hand in this matter.

Watch some trashy comedy that will also help!

I am pretty sure I will get past this and I don't need a show to keep me sane anymore, but to lose something that has been with you when there was no one is just so heartbreaking. BP and Jenshad are special for me and I hate the fact that it may not even get an end that it so deserves. I have decided to not watch the upcoming episodes. Will do so only when I am totally ready and i am not even going to go near the old OST! Just no. Hugs to you, Hadz.

Aww sweetheart it's okay! All of us have felt this way at some point since the news has come. Infact I just wrote in the other thread that I woke up this morning feeling a void in me. The last time I woke up this depressed was after a horrible break up 😆 and I was actually yelling at myself for being so irrational for a damn show. So yeah glad to know most of us are mental here lol. Hope you are okay and don't go back to feeling the way you were last year :) We learnt it the hard way but guess we should never get attached to anything so badly.

Hii dear Flame... Your post brought out so many emotions in my otherwise, usually emotionless heart.. I am sorry for whatever you had to go through last year... I am very happy that you are in a better space now... mashaAllah. And I am super proud to be a fan of a show which actually helped someone heal... 😳👏
I was not so concerned about the show ending news... (I guess I am the only IRRATIONAL person here who does not feel much remorse...😕 and I am not proud of that...trust me...Its just that I have become very cynical with time...😕) So regardless of all my earlier feelings, after reading your post, I am feeling sad too now... But stay put yar... Another show, Another movie, Another book is right out there for us to grab and move on in life... 😳 🤗 And just by the way, I am not publicizing or anything..but if you feel like reading a book about a girl who suffered from tragedy and the paranormal means that brought her out of her misery, you can definitely read my book. Its on Wattpad and I think you can see my Wattpad profile link in my signature... 😊 Its name is "Beyond the Realms." I specifically wrote it for people who need a ray of hope in life...😊
Lots of love to you.. 🤗

hey ya @flame! first, don't think you are absurd for feeling so attached to a tv show or that it kept you sane. we all need a time out from our stresses and sometimes, talking about a tv show and having fun with it is a great way to unwind. for me, dramas are just that time out where you can talk to other fans, laugh, giggle, dissect; it is a place where I don't need to talk about my real life and just have that space to think about something fun and silly..

so it is natural to feel that sense of loss because you are losing in essence that space where you get to spazz especially when it is a fun group. bepannah fans have a good sense of humour and it has made me laugh. I have made funny posts where in other groups, people might have been like "what?" but here they were laughing away. 😆

I watch LOTS of dramas in so many languages but most of them are finite. however, even when you know that there's a certain amount of episodes only, you still feel a bit sad when the journey's over. sometime, a drama also happens to coincide with a chapter in your life and the drama ending also feels like a chapter closing. but it also means that a new chapter is beginning!

so keep your chin up and look ahead. rather than be sad, add the wonderful memories of the drama and the forum and think of what you took away from watching. some people end up re-watching but I usually avoid that and instead move on to another drama or some variety show or just random surfing. then when I feel like it, I might re-watch a scene or two and smile at the memory just as I would while looking at an old family photo.

fighting! 👍🏼

Just yesterday I wrote in a post that this thing feels worse than a break-up 😆
Just shows how attached all of us are to this show. It really is crazy how one can feel these emotions for something that is not real. I am quite fine and won't go back to the old feeling, but BP does seem like a big big big loss :( sigh

Aww man! I am so sorry if I am spreading gloom in an already gloomy forum. It really is a terrible feeling to experience. I think you should keep up your positive attitude. Who knows it may help some of us here. It's not irrational at all :)
Thank you so much for your kind words. I will certainly check out your story as I will be having a lot of free time due to BP going off air anyway 😊

Heyy! Thank you for assuring me that I am not an idiot for losing the plot over a tv show. It does make one feel weird when the loss of a fictional show seems so personal. For me BP was a great escape and hence very dear to my heart. I may take time to recover, but I will as time goes by.

Hahaha yeah! This fandom is quite funny and also very honest about the flaws in the show and characters which makes it all the more fun. Also the Jenshad shipping kids on Twitter are quite adorable 😆

I get the feeling. I changed my job last year and it's been very depressing. I used to be an avid reader but it's been years since I read a story book. I had started writing ffs 7 years ago but I quit even that n could not complete any of my stories 😭 but after BP started I found a means to deviate my mind from my horrible profession. After a long while I took to writing again n though I could not be half as good as I used to be before I got the feel of writing n the forum was very sweet to me. AdiYa helped me overcome my writer's block. Haven't been able to write again for months bcoz things got more depressing at work but I had started penning a new chapter when this news came. I did not go back to my story n now I donno if I can ever complete it. Another unfinished story added to my never ending list. Sorry for ranting but just wanted to express my feelings too. Along with BP ending in this manner i even quit on the one thing I loved to do. I don't think I will ever be able to write again.
