"Zoya, are you sure?" Aditya looked apprehensively as Zoya helped him put on his coat.
"Ji haan Captain Aditya Hooda... Hum bilkul sure hain..." Zoya nodded at him as she ran a hand over his coat, perfecting all the creases.
"Par Zoya, tumhein toh aircrafts se kitna darr lagta hai... Tumhein meri fikar nahi hogi?" he made a puppy face, expecting some cuddling.
"Aditya, aapki fikar humein har haal hogi... Chaahe aap humari event management company sambhaalte, ya aap ek pilot banke rehte. Aapki biwi hain, hum aapki fikar har haal karenge..." Zoya pulled his cheeks lightly.
"Apna khayaal rakhiyega Aditya... All the best!" Zoya bid Aditya adieu for his flying test which he was finally giving to get back to his routine.
"Tum kya karogi?" he asked.
"Dekhte hain... Filhaal toh aapka intezaar karenge." Zoya waved him bye, as he drove away the car.
Zoya came back from the main door, to see Harshvardhan Hooda, sitting on the sofa, witnessing the scene unfold.
"Zoya, Bachhe, idhar aaiye..." Harsh called Zoya, and patted on the seat in front of him.
"Ji Papa..." Zoya sat, as instructed, all smiles. She was really happy to have her father figure with her.
"Aditya ki baat toh aapne taal di, lekin humari baat nahi taal sakti... Kyuki hum baithe hain aapse baat karne ke liye..." Harsh smiled.
"Boliye na papa... Aapki baat hum kaise taal sakte hain?" she smiled.
"Beta, Zosh ab band ho gaya hai... Aapke abbu ne usko take-over kar liya hai... Aagey kya plans hain? Ye mat kahiyega ki aap kitchen mein din bhar guzaar ke apni saas ko impress karne ke grounds bana rahi hain... Agar ye plans hain toh hum pehle hi bata dein ki, ismein aapko bohot time lag jaayega... Aur koi guarantee bhi nahi hai ki wo kab maanein..." Harsh laughed.
"Pata nahi papa... Hum aaj mudh ke dekhte hain toh lagta hai ki humne socha kya tha, kiya kya aur hua kya. College mein padhte-padhte, pyaar ho gaya, phir shaadi kar li. Uske baad padhaai ka khayaal hi nahi aaya. Aur phir aap toh sab jaante hi hain..." Zoya twiddled with her fingers.
"Kya padha aapne?" Harsh asked her intrigued.
"Abbu ke legal advisor banna chaahte they... BA-LLB kiya tha humne... Graduation khatam hone ke baad aagey kuch padha nahi..." Zoya spoke nonchalantly.
"You must be kidding Bachhe..." Harsh was laughing at her being a law student and talking so off-handed before a renowned lawyer and to-be-justice.
"Hum sach bol rahe hain... Humein dekhke lagta nahi hai na?" Zoya looked up at him, and then realised and then embarrassed- "Hum bhi toh kiske saamne bol rahe hain ye sab... Suraj ko bata rahe hain ki hum ek diya hain..." Zoya hit her forehead.
"Zoya, Bachhe, why don't you study further? LLM kar lo, join our firm. Idhar udhar kyu struggle karna..." Harsh suggested.
"Par Papa, LLM is not a cupcake... Humein padhai chode 6 saal ho chuke hain." she meant it being a difficult task.
"Ab ye privilege sabko nahi milti... Par Hoodas ki bahu hone ka benefit toh le hi sakti ho... Main aur Arjun dono hain... We'd help you in every manner that we can..." Harsh motivated her.
"Papa, that really would be fantastic... Hum zaroor karenge LLM... Shaam mein Adi aayenge na, toh hum unse discuss karke pakka decide kar lenge..." Zoya was bubbling with excitement.
"Aur agar Adi ne mana kar diya toh?" Harsh had an eyebrow cocked, pulling her leg.
"Hum jaante hain unhein... Wo humein kabhi mana nahi karenge. Law unki calling nahi thi, par wo humari calling ke liye kabhi na nahi karenge... Lekin humne shaadi karte waqt unse promise kiya tha, ki hum har baat ek dusre ko bataayenge... Isliye ye rule abhi bhi apply hota hai... Hum unse ye baat zaroor discuss karenge." Zoya said confidently.
"Theek hai Bachhe... But anyway... aap aao study hall mein, I will guide you through some books." Harsh got up from the sofa, towards the staircase to the study. Zoya followed suit.

"Kya baat hai Mrs. Hooda, aapka mood toh bada romantic ho raha hai..." Adi seemed surprised, as Zoya had prepared a romantic dinner setup in their balcony.
"Aapne apna flying test clear kar liya hai... Toh kuch celebration toh banti hai na... Humne socha, aapko surprise karein... So..." she spread her arms around to show her way to surprise him with the dinner...
"Tum hi itni yummy lag rahi ho... Dinner kaun khaayega..." Adi had pulled her to himself.
"Desserts are supposed to be relished at the end, Hooda Saahab..." Zoya winked at him, as she closed her arms around his neck, and kissed his cheek.
"Sss... Kambakht ye husn... Ghalib se Mallika-e-husn ban gayi ho tum... Katl-e-aam hoga ab toh." Adi caressed her, and then parted, pulling her a chair, and sat in front of her for the dinner.
Later that night... as Adi lay spent up, his eyes dooming towards sleep, when Zoya's fingers on his bare chest alerted him yet again. The nerve endings of her fingers played currents all over him... He immediately held her fingers to the spot...
"Rehem karo apne pati par Zaalim aurat!" Adi spoke in pure fun. "Main waaqayi mein thak gaya hoon... I have to report my joining tomorrow... Sone nahi dogi, toh phir se license rejection ka letter aa jaayega ghar par..." he was playing with her hair.
"Oh! Sorry... Humara aisa koi maksad nahi tha... Dar-asal baat ye thi, ke humein aapse ek bohot important baat karni thi. Aur humein abhi yaad aaya..." Zoya fidgeted, she felt embarrassed at sending him some wrong signals, though a part of hers felt amused at her power over him.
"Bolo na... Main sunn raha hoon..." he had gently pulled her such that her upper body and torso came gently over his chest. Her hand over his chest, she rested her chin over the back of her hand.
"Aaj aapke jaane ke baad, papa se mere career ki baat hui... Unhein jaanke achha laga ki hum bhi law student they kabhi..." Zoya smiled happily at him.
"Achha? Tumne law kiya hua hai? Toh ye zosh pe kya karti rehti thi tum?? Why didn't you pursue law?" Aditya had stars shining in his eyes.
"Papa ne bhi yahi kaha humse... Aur kaha hai ki humein law mein masters karna chahiye... Humein bhi yahi sahi laga... Par hum chaahte they ki ek baar aapse discuss kar lein..." Zoya spoke happily.
"Arre ismein discuss kya karna hai... You want to study further; do it ASAP. And you have Paa and Arjun at your behest. I know myself, how much Paa wanted me to take up law... Tumhare law lene se wo bohot khush honge; they will kill to help you study and join the office." Aditya was super excited.
"Thank you so much Aditya..." Zoya hugged him...
"It's fine... Ab main so jaaun? Kyuki agar kal maine join nahi kiya toh main har roz tumhara padhna haraam kar dunga..." Aditya threatened her mockingly.
"Ji so jaaiye... Humein bhi neend aa rahi hai..." Zoya laughed, and she slipped on her side of the bed, taking his palm under her cheek; she closed her eyes.

"Zoya, tum yahan baithi ho... Aur main tumhein purey ghar mein dhoondh raha tha..." Adi said, his coat flinging on his forearm. He had returned home from one of his trips... It has been more than 6 months since he had taken back to flying and Zoya had joined her college.
"Arre Aditya, aap kab aaye? Aapne bataya bhi nahi ki aap aaj raat wapas aayenge... Hum ye assignment leke baithe they... Papa aur Arjun se samajh rahe they." Zoya showed him the look on the table, full of books and assignment sheets. The side table occupied with three cups having the remnants of the coffee they must have brewed on.
Harsh got up from his place and patted Adi on his shoulder, hugging him- "Main toh yahan ek book rakhne aaya tha... Dekha toh Arjun aur Zoya dono padh rahe they, toh do minute baith gaya. Tum bhi aaraam karo... Good night!" Harsh patted his cheek and went away.
Arjun had got back to reading the assignment that Zoya had made, Adi poked a finger on his shoulder, distracting him- "Arjun, Noor se tumhara patch-up abhi tak nahi hua?" he asked sarcastically.
"Nahi bhai, bandi bhaao hi nahi deti..." Arjun answered without looking up...
"Tum apni Bhabhi ki itni help karte ho, usse bhi koi help le lo, taaki wo tumhari girl friend ko pata sake..." Adi had his eyebrows raised, while Zoya looked quizzically at him.
"Kya bol rahe ho bhai, mere kuch samajh nahi aa raha..." Arjun finally looked up from the assignment, closing it, and giving it to Zoya, telling her that it all seems fine, and then looking at Adi.
"Chote..." Adi had hit Arjun's head lightly. "Mere kehne ka matlab ye hai, ki get yourself a wife... Meri biwi ko mere liye chodh do... Main saamne khada hua hoon, and you are still busy in studying and teaching..." Adi had a devilish smile on his face...
"Bhai, aap bhi na... Kuch bhi..." Arjun got up, rubbing his head.
"Kahe toh koi aur dekhoon? Ek badi sexy si ladki dikhi thi flight mein..." Adi teased Arjun. "Aaa..." Adi suddenly cried.
"Kya kaha aapne Mr. Aditya Hooda? Sexy si ladkiyaan dekh rahe they aap flight mein?" Zoya twisted his ear.
"Arre apne liye nahi meri maa..." Aditya tried getting his ear off her hold.
"Kisi ke liye bhi nahi... Hum apni Noor ko jaante hain... Aap behkaaiye mat humare devar ko..." Zoya reprimanded him. "Aap jaaiye Arjun... Assignment ke liye shukriya... Aur aap... Mr. Aditya Hooda, aap ek number ke besharam, behaya aur kamzarf insaan hain... Aaiye humare saath, khair nahi hai aapki..." Zoya pulled him by his sleeve.
"Aaya meri Urdu queen!" Aditya gladly followed her, for he knew, where this night would end... ;)đ
