What is significant is that when aditya walks vishnu stuthi is played and if u see he looks down and carefully guides zoya through the pheras. A stark contrast to fake wedding where he walked straight. In this marriage he will remove the obstacles before allowing her to come to front and take charge. Because when she comes in front it is war as even counch is blown in the music. And zoya walks straight,only towards fag and she turns to check he is there and aditya smile indicates he will be there always for her. She need not doubt because she is going to give him what he wants if he gives her what she wants.Sukoon.he trusts her for that.

Yes the Vishnu Stuthi was powerfully used in the pheras as Aditya led zoya in the first phase. Thank you for highlighting that. Your interpretation is always so meaningful.

@kiru actually adiya wedding had helped me to analyze the show better. I mean I dont have to think tv cliche and push the envelope to see something more natural and more beautiful. What apashagun someone will talk. Zoya saved Aditya's life. Her first task as wife accomplished. What can be more subh shagun than that 😆😆.

Episode 145 & 146

Who thought an accident would lead these two strangers infront of this sacred fire today.

Last time when Aditya and Zoya had walked down to the mandap for the virani's they both were having flashbacks of their marriage to their respective partners. Today as Zoya walks down to Aditya at the mandap, they only have flashbacks of their time spent together. They fondly remember even the bitter moments which stirred their way to present day.

Aditya extends his hand towards Zoya to escort her into his life officially. Same hand which had once pushed her then held her at the edge of Zosh terrace asking her if she wants to live or die. Even though he pulls her back to live, once he leaves her on the terrace she imagines yash, and in order to save the memories of her and yash, Zoya stays in the rain which pushes her to near death. That day when aditya pulled her hand back he literally dragged her out of the past. Today he extended his hand to hold her hand and pull her into the future with him.

Coming to Varmala and the snake. For me it indicated that, through some part of their journey an evil shadow will be present in their marriage. Since the snake hide till the last moment, I felt it showed that the shadow will be present but Zoya or Aditya won't be able to discover it till it attacks them.

Now the vows taken by Zoya. This is it, Aditya may have expressed his feelings for Zoya in private when proposing to her. He made promises when they were alone in the streets. But Zoya declares her love in public holding his hand. She makes promises to him in between people, the world is witness of her love. Zoya gives him the promise he has been craving all his life. Her loyalty. She vows to have only his name in her heart till death and beyond.
Aditya gets lost in her words. His efforts to brings them both together has finally paid off.

Another important vow Zoya took was to protect Aditya. She declared, any trouble has to first cross through her to get to aditya. Now going back to the virani track when adiya had taken fake pheras, the fire around which they took them was still sacred as mantras were real. It joined them unknowingly. Aditya felt a sense of protective instinct towards her. He behaved like a husband by shouting at the old virani stating jo pati apni patni ko sarr pe na chadhaye woh pati keh laneke layek nahi hai'

Throughout the jungle track he did not leave her hand, even when Zoya asked him to he had shouted I won't leave you. Aditya went to an extent to put his life at stake by asking harsh to free Zoya or else he will confess to a crime he never committed. That was when the pheras were incomplete, now with this marriage as the pheras are complete, Zoya will take the protective step forward. This time Zoya will put herself at stake to free Aditya from a crime he never committed. She herself had declared in the truck once to aditya that hum mein yakeen hai' when he had asked her if she believes he was innocent.

When aditya removes the garland with snake he actually breaks the garland off Zoya. He could have removed the garland from above but he pulls it to break it off. For me it showed Aditya will break any relation harming Zoya he won't just remove them from his life but will break it off and in the process it will spread its venom through him. Zoya will suck that poison out and pull him out from near death.

The way aditya stood between anjana and Zoya declaring, she is my wife. The smile on zoya's face showed she never got that kind of treatment before. Yash never stood between her and his family, never declared her as his wife in public. Which is why when in the initial episode Zoya had come to yash's house for his last rights no one knew who was yash's wife. All the ladies were shocked to see yash had a wife.

The jail part, Harsh's behaviour was a bit weird for me. He may not be the main culprit at this point but he is definitely hiding some secret which is why he is ready to apologise to waseem. I had watched the first episode again last weekend for a different post and I noticed something. When pooja's post-mortem report comes out the doctor tells harsh everything is natural and at that time sakshi and harsh exchange a suspicious look. It's a tiny scene but I thought there is some secrecy there.

Zoya remembers her mother's word from the wedding and stood up to Aditya from forcing his mother. She has already lost her own family, she understands the pain. She is unwilling to put Aditya through that pain as well. She swallows that pain and puts Aditya before herself. Aditya had bent down at arshad's feet, had taken that humiliation for her. Today Zoya bends down at anjana's feet despite her taunts at the doorstep for Aditya.

They crossed each other's path on the streets of mussorie, they separated by a lake in Mumbai and they came back to each other on the streets of Mumbai.

PS - was it just me or anyone else loved the wedding manstra music which was a bit different from rest of the shows I have seen ?

What a wonderful piece of writing.So impressed with your interpretation.It is amazing how some of you read the symbols and explain them so beautifully and clearly.
To begin with AdiYa marriage was so different from any other on Indian television. I was a tad disappointed with the previous day's entertainment quotient before the ceremony itself but looking back in hindsight I can see that too was an attempt to make the AdiYa union totally hatke. Zoya wanted a grand wedding and did not get it with Yash who besides not giving her the big fat wedding of her dreams kept her hidden from his family & friends in far away Mussoorie (could never understand that) Aditya makes up for that in his own way helped by his childhood friend...what if family was missing ...what are friends for Vatsal says. Preceding the rituals Zoya gets her desire for the big fat Indian wedding fulfilled. Bepannah remains true to spirit ...a show markedly different from the normal fare.
The funfare over,the rituals take over and here too Bepannah was refreshingly different. Starting from the bride & groom's attire that were so regal yet simple, to the entire ceremony ...there was such a unique flavour in the entire proceedings. Loved the way Aditya holds out his hand for her to join him after he makes his initial offering invoking the God's. The looks exchanged were mesmerising indeed. The entire proceedings that followed were ethereal ...nothing like this has been shown on our television screens till now. Throughout the tender, loving eye contact between the two was so moving often reducing us too to tears as well ...not just the two of them Zoya's tears and not to miss Aditya expressing his emotions with a subtle swallow of his Adam's apple. These are two brilliant actors who are on top of their trade. The CVs and director are super and they are so lucky to have the two of them translate their thoughts on screen so expertly.
Last but not the least are the saat vachans initiated by Zoya and concluded by Aditya to seal their eternal togetherness. Much has already been written to describe the vachans so I will not repeat but suffice to say that these vows are a precursor to the future tracks of Bepanah.
Wait with bated breath for the story to unfold. I know tonight is the SR but for me the physical is not of such great importance as the subtle nuances projected by brilliant scripting such as the vows. Look forward to a lot more of such high powered creativity by the scriptwriters, the expert direction and of course the interpretation on screen by two of the best actors in the field. Have not seen such a potent combination ever before on ITV.
