Anjana and Harsh are not wrong in looking for another gal for Adi. Zoya herself told Adi in front of Anjana that she will marry Arshad by hook or by crook, even in Mussourie if he can't let her marry in Mumbai. In the last scene, I saw two stubborn people planning to defeat each other. One of them has to bend down before the other. One of them has to let go off their stubbornness and I too hope it's Adi because he is hurting Zoya more and his actions are distancing her more from him.

I feel Adi or maybe Arjun play a prank to stop the engagement and that makes Zoya angry and she gets engaged to Arshad in front of Adi. I didn't see any bandage on Adi's hand in the precap.
