Does anyone else think that Jennifer is really underrated?

I'll report the topic myself for comparisons or whatever but before that, I wanted your guys' opinion. I personally feel Jennifer is THE best, not even one of the best actresses on television.

In the BP fandom, obviously we all love her but in general, I feel she isn't as appreciated as some others like Divyanka and Drashti. I'm not criticizing DT and DD but their acting skills are so limited. All they do is cry and whine. No offence to any DT/DD fans out here. Jennifer has portrayed such a wide range of characters and each quite different from the other. Right from Riddhima to Kumud, Maya and now Zoya. And the different layers of Zoya have been portrayed so beautifully by her. From scared, naive and timid Zoya to the more independent and strong Zoya. We've seen Zoya's funny, flirty, broken, strong side- all in the span of not even 6 months.

Even her crying scenes are so nicely done, not the usual run of the mill stuff we get. Her expressions and voice modulation are all on POINT.

She's stunning, can act amazingly and has screen presence which makes her the best, in my opinion. DD and DT are superstars, like Katrina but can't act.

Not trying to create a fight here. Just wanted your opinion.

Jenny said she doesn't prepare as much as Harshad For their scenes, so how does she deliver her performance Everyday?

Maybe she is blessed with a good memory. After all history was her fav subject. People who love history tend to have an excellent memory. So she just goes through the script every night briefly before bed and then rehearses with the team before the shoot and that's it? And then she is able to perform?

I hope that one day Jen and Harshad will share with fans the technicality of their craft.

IMO, so far in my TV watching experience, JW is the best, undoubtedly...

She just gets less scope as Zoya to show variations in her performance, compared to her previous show, but still she's just perfect in whatever scene she does...

Talking of voice modulation, I had noticed one line very important one , the one she says in the divorce papers track, "Yash ne papers sign ki, Pooja ne nahi" with that thick crying hoarse voice, man that was brilliant. Spot on that was. Don't know why I just loved her voice modulation in that and remains my fav.

I agree with u. Jenny has always been my fav since her kzk days. Not like she was a fine actress back then but she had a spark. Post that she took up characters that helped evolve her as an actress. Her growth trajectory is phenomenal. But this should also be attributed to the fact that she got the opportunity to play such roles. She has been lucky there. If Beyhadh hadn't come her way I don't think she would have got the kind of fame she has today. Till beyhadh happened people saw her as an actress who had an innocent appeal but beyhadh changed it all. We saw Jenny as Maya but is there anything to say that another actress wouldn't have done it better? We can't be sure. But we will still say no one can portray Maya the way Jenny did bcoz we all loved her. As for other actresses i can compare them with Jenny only if they take up similar characters not otherwise. As it would be unfair and just bcoz they are stuck doing mediocre roles which made them famous we can't conclude that's all there is to them. Am no fan of DD but I have seen her give some phenomenal performances. I will always be a Jenny fan but that is bcoz I love her choice of characters n her acting and I have my reasons for loving her portrayal just like how a DD or DT fan may have.

Are there any acting schools in Mumbai? Many actors have never been to acting schools. Jen and Harshad didn't. Many actors in the US have taken acting classes. Some even graduated with acting degrees.

Jen was a child actress. Did her parents send her to a drama Coach? How did she learn to act?

I know many celebrities are fan of Jennifer Winget but still the audience more love Divyanka, Drashti and Sanaya. No offense to their fans but truly I have never liked this three.

For Drashti I have only liked her in DMG. Now in this new show Silsila it is she is coming in between a married couple but the makers are trying to create sympathy for her. I will say that you should confuse a viewer whether to be sympathetic or not. I mean that in case of Maya, we had sympathy for her but I had lost the sympathy for her in the end. Means wrong cannot be justified. Here a woman will go through a domestic violence which will create sympathy but she will fall for a married man saying that they are just feelings and saying she was tortured she needs some one to be with her.

Sanaya I only liked her MJHT. Gul's show potrays the main lead as behenji. I don't like her also.

Divyanka is the only one who looks than Drashti and Sanaya. But honestly I have never watched her shows. She really wears good outfits. She has gained this much because of Ekta Kapoor.

I have only liked the two actresses in my life time. Jennifer and Sanjeeda. Jennifer carries the class. She has covered various ranges of characters. She is not the one who will select cry baby characters. She was a negative character in beyhadh and still for the first a negative character got so much appreciation.

What other actors have gained is due to high trps, Ekta and Gul and all but Jennifer's show were not highly rated but still she is so much loved. She has worked with Ekta but she is not famous because of her. She has not worked with Gul. She is only known for her acting that's it.

Agree...I've seen DT and DD ..and tbh neither match jenny's skills!! ..there were times when they delivered great shots ..but many a times (perhaps when they couldn't rehearse much) it would definitely seem fake ..but jenny hasn't given me those feelings yet!! ..

Agree with u. In terms of popularity, I m glad Jen has beaten the other three at the moment. Her awards, achievements an d her SM fans speak for her popularity. AM SO glad that she's getting adulation from all. Coz she's worth it and end of the day talent speaks.

Jennifer has never worked for Ekta as a lead actress. Wonder why? After all she started with Balaji as supporting actress.

Their's is an inborn talent which they have refined with their own effort over the years. Jenny has been working since she was a kid and with people like Kajol and other seniors so would have watched them carefully to refine her own craft. She said in an interview that she never confuses her real life with the screen character...when lights switch off she gets back to being jenny and it is easy for her as she has been acting for so long. It comes to her effortlessly. Perhaps the main reason where the screen image looks so real that the two merge.

Harshad too has been around for over ten years.He has done a variety of on screen characters and looks like a very determined actor. I have been watching Humsafar recently and marvel at how different Sahir is from Aditya and how competently HC manages to identify with both. The director of the two shows is the same ...its HC's talent and his professionalism that makes him an outstanding actor. He too is not an actor performing as Aditya on screen...he IS Aditya for all of us to watch.

Both are perfect and I would say this is a great scoop of a pairing. Most shows I have seen start rumours of off screen pairing to attract viewers after a while ...it was at its worst this tactic when Jenny was doing Kumud with G Rode ...fandom had them all but married. In HC & Jenny's case there are a few weak rumours but no one gives them any importance as both are too good as Zoya & Aditya and one doesn't have to use the crutch of an off screen liaison to impress the audience.

And this is as it should be. They bring in the audience based on their talent and not any off screen activity.

My vote for both for the oncoming ITA awards.
