Do they work mon- sat like us and one day off.curious to know how the crew works...

Do they rent a house and shoot in it.or in a film city.

Curiosity of a viewer to know how the telly industry works.

Hey.
Cinvistaas is the production house.they have their won sets in Kanjurmarg.
Both Bepanah and Teri Galliyan are being shot there. There is no Monday to Saturday. Actor contracts are essentially 26-4 or 28-2 ( which means 26 days working and 4 days off). If they want a block leave then they tell the production house in advance.
Actors have call time. They can either have morning shift or night shift, depending on the track. They essentially work 10-12 hour shifts. All the actors have their trailers ( essentially buses). Trailers will have bed , make up area and a bathroom. Big actors have their personal trailers or else they share trailers.

Hope this helps

Oh wow the sets are in Kanjurmarg...that's quite close to my place...I wish I could visit someday!
Even though I m fan of these actors, I m never interested in meeting them personally since their personal lives don't interest me much😆 But I m really interested to see the technicalities during the shoot. I m sure there's a lot that goes behind even a minute long scene that we get to see, that must be really worth watching how it rolls.

TV actors do not own these trailers. These trailers belong to channel or production house. They don't overnight on the sets. They all go home. Most of TV actors live in adheri, Goregaon or Malad so that doesn't involve too much travel time.

In person the set looks so different. How Hooda mashup. Looks so palatial but in reality it is just a portion of the set that is created. Rest is just wall.

You must visit the set. It is a great learning experience and fun.

Thanks for this very interesting information. How come you know so much about it? 😃

One more question: I'm visiting Bombay in October. Can one just go to the sets to watch a shoot or do we have to make an appointment?

I'm a free lance media/digital executive. I have worked with a couple of channels on freelance basis and as part of my J.D. I had to visit a few sets

Walkins are not allowed on the sets. Until and unless you have a prior appointment you won't be allowed.
