I saw many posts on the illogical CVs on how adi opened the car ..

There are some instances where the locked car cannot be opened from inside even if u pull the lock. But when u unlock from inside and try opening from outside it would.. I think this is something connected with child lock feature..

This actually used to happen when i take office cabs.. in it u need to pull the lock from inside but it wouldnt open. Then my driver used to get out and open from outside.. Later we had the cab drivers instructed from office that they shouldnt on the child lock feature when taking associates due to safety issues as well..

so i wouldnt say it is completely illogical.. its a completely possible scenario.. just that many of us are not aware of!!

I would like to clarify it a little more.
I have a child and hence we regularly use the child lock feature.. If child lock is on,, the car door cannot be opened from inside. It had to be opened from outside itself. Child lock feature is only on the doors which are behind. Not on the doors which are at the front.

However in yesterday's situation the driver had locked the car with a remote. So ideally if Zoya is inside and the child lock is not active, she should be able to open the door just by pulling up the knob.

If the child lock is active then the scene was a mistake as Aditya broke the window and pulled up the knob. The door couldn't have opened by pulling up the knob.

As the car is centrally locked, no one can unlock the door from outside without the remote. Only the person sitting inside can open the door. So the conclusion is that Zoya should have been able to open the door from inside. Either hers or the front ones at least.

I would say that may be she panicked and hence was unable to open the doors. Or it was a blooper..

This is the correct explanation.
Thank you
