@Happy hippy and maryam Zoya was not asked to talk about the insurance. Both Adi and Mr Hooda asked her to tell Mahi had proposed Adi, he has rejected it and she is taking revenge. One thing you need to know here. Yes she agreed to Adi. Told Adi had rejected Mahi. Public prosecutor will argue the whole proposal was fake. Because apart from Zoya on whom the accusation is put there is no other witness for that proposal. Public prosecutor can easily argue that Mahi proposing Adi is a made up story by Zoya as vendetta. I was surprised how the so famous lawyer Mr Hooda even agreed to put Zoya on the stand and make that claim. If I was defense lawyer, I would have put Mahi on the stand and cross examined her and took that proposal out from her mouth along with Aditya's rejection and then defended my client a personal vendetta is happening.😆😆

@enlightenme I have put the logical flaw in putting Zoya and getting the statement from her. You cant have the aggreived part throw mud at the accuser without having a neutral witness. It will bounce back badly in a court of law. It was good Zoya listened to her heart.

Shruti, I respect ur pov but I still feel Zoya was wrong today. First of all, Mahi betrayed her on their fake marriage itself by bringing Madhu there and making her believe in AdiYa affair.

Secondly, today Mahi was proving in the court that Zoya is a characterless woman. If Zoya had let Adi say that Mahi loved him and he rejected her so she is doing all these, frankly speaking, there wouldn't have been much damage to Mahi's reputation except for the fact that she is a lier. But Mahi calling Zoya characterless is the biggest ever accusation on a woman's dignity.

Madhu also knows her daughter is a lier yet she still supports her so it's not like Mahi-Madhu relationship would have been broken.

What if Madhu had not overheard the conversation and would have said that Zoya was indeed having an affair with Aditya and both of them killed Poosh? Then both of them would have got punishment for the crime they didn't commit. Then Zoya also would have been blamed for not defending herself. After all, she wouldn't have lied like Mahi. Whatever she would have said would have been complete truth.

I feel one shouldn't be too seedha. Zoya got lucky that the woman who slapped her in front of the media and called her characterless said in the court that she is not a murderer.

if the confession didnt come from Shaurya his defense lawyer will make use of the loophole of change of statement by Payal and somehow bring him out.

Same is Zoya's case in second thought. There is no neutral witness to Mahi's proposal to Aditya. A good lawyer will negate that theory itself in the absence of a neutral witness. You will say injustice , but sadly that's how the court functions.

And it was good Zoya listened to her heart. Else it would have backfired and Madhu also would have told whatever Mahi has taught her.

also adiya r the only witnesses to mahis love confession n them being the defendants does not make them reliable witnesses so even saying this in court would be hearsay while mahi has pictures to prove her claim. This was mostly to make madhu change her mind anyway.

I never expected zoya to use this against mahi so wasnt shocked she said what she said and adi i think 50% chance he would lol ppl dont get so upset.
