The divorce papers might be the final blow for Aditya to accept that Pooja wanted out of this marriage with him and that might give him immense pain in the beginning, but eventually he will get the courage to move on...remember the dargah scene and what the maulvi ji told him

If Pooja turns out innocent, Aditya will go through double the pain...first for thinking she was cheating and second for doubting her

Better he gets the pain in one hit , but emerge from it and become stronger
