Hey everyone. This is my first post in this forum. So last week I binge watched all the episodes on voot and I'm hooked to this show.
The concept of the show is fantastic and fresh. I'm happy to see it's not a saas bahu saga and we also have two of the hottest actors in it, Jennifer and Harshad. They have been my favourite since dil mil gayya and saubhagyavati bhav. I'm so happy that they are working together on this. Mashaallah, when they grace my screen, I forget about everything else.

So coming to this forum, I see a lot of hatred towards Zoya's character. Yes, she is naive and lives in her own fantasy world. She has lead a very sheltered life since her childhood and probably got all her wishes fulfilled and never faced any problems. Her character is very relatable for me. She isn't dumb, just naive. She gets married to the guy of her dreams who also fulfills all her dreams and keeps her happy. All of a sudden he dies and her world shatters. How can she just doubt him? He was perfect in her eyes. She only sees the good in others and knows that they were happy. So why should she just believe that he was having an affair? He was a very good husband and treated her well. Her ignorance about the red light area was hilarious but not that weird. She hails from a small town of Mussouri and as she said she never even used public transport. I'm sure she hasn't seen the street life there so how can she suddenly know that it was a red light area? Also she was very anxious and her only goal in mind was to return home so she didn't pay attention.

Coming to Aditya, people feel that he is being very rude and acting out. I think his anger and actions are both justified. He lives in a family where there is no bond between the family members. His dad had an affair, maybe still is. Aditya's choice of becoming a pilot was definitely a way not to become like his father. He probably is a little upset with his brother for following his father's footsteps, and his mom never took any steps against his father. Aditya was a kid, and this totally messed him up. Enters Pooja. They become best friends and gradually fall in love. Life suddenly gets better for him. But Pooja dies and her hands are linked with another man. Aditya cannot accept this. She committed the same mistakes as his dad. Then he meets Zoya who blindly trusts her husband. She reminds him of his mom, even worse, because she worships her husband.

Now the most important issue. Closure. Aditya never got any. His wife cheated on him. Any man would want closure, maybe a simple answer to why or perhaps revenge. But Pooja is dead. He cannot get the closure he wants. 'Why did you cheat on me? I was the perfect husband to you? Why did you do it? Was Yash better than me?' Aditya can never get those answers and that makes him mad. He is feeling absolutely helpless, and Zoya's belief makes it worse. He wants her to feel the pain too, because till now he is the only one feeling it. He is not only mad about her optimism, but also envious of it. Why is it only killing him when it should kill her too?

I will not write anything about Yash and Pooja because we truly don't know anything much about them. I don't like their characters personally. Even if they had any troubles, they should never have cheated. It is not excusable.

I know it hasn't been proved that they were cheating as of yet. But honestly I want it to be true. I want the Indian television to shatter the perfect marriage idea. Not all marriages are perfect and definitely not all people. So I'll be happy if for a change they show them to be bad people instead of being good.

Coming to the closure issue, I want the CVs to give the the perfect closure. Because they both need it, even Zoya when she finally finds out. When Bella thinks them both to be a couple, Aditya says to Zoya that it would be perfect if Yash could listen to it. And damn, I wish Yash could listen. Aditya wants to hurt them for cheating on them and so do I. I know Yash and Pooja cannot suddenly come back to life but I hope the CVs give them a chance of closure. Till then they will always remain broken at heart.

Zoya being the most naive character will get the shock of her life when she realises that her husband was cheating on her and her sister-in-law hates her. It's like what her dad said, no one will be at her side when she needs them. But her dad hasn't met our hero, Aditya yet. He will be at her side and that's when their relationship will start. They will become friends because it is pain which bonds them together. Pain and love are both very powerful emotions and not that different from each other if you come to see.

Right now Aditya doesn't hate Zoya. He just needs something to hold on to. Like when his dad cheated on them, he held onto Pooja, and now it's Zoya. He is directing his pain, love, hatred and anger everything at Zoya. It is his anchor, keeping him afloat. She's keeping him alive. In fact he doesn't want to harm her in any way. Aditya is making Zoya stronger without realising it and will keep encouraging her. We've already seen how similar they both are and fate keeps pushing them towards each other. I'm pretty sure he won't let Mahi hurt her because he has a certain protective attitude towards her which will develop further. They both loved their spouses to the extreme, and even their love will be bepannaah.

I'm sorry for rambling so much. I have an English assignment, instead I'm here writing this and I'm seriously doubting my decision of taking English literature as my major. I should've taken psychology 🤣

I am bored seeing posts on why Adi and Zoya are hated. 🥱 No they are not really hated. People just don't like their behaviors.

Yes, hate was probably a wrong word to use. I was just analyzing their behaviour.

The problem is people prefer positive discussion than negative criticism. So when people write about the things they don't like about the characters or dislike their behavior, people get defensive. I wish criticism was as welcomed as praising.
