Musings - Episode 1 and 2

We see two parallel lives, Aditya and Pooja and Yash and Zoya, seemingly normal and happy with some under-currents. There is love but there are secrets too which I will come back to later. Lets first see the dynamics between the people we have already met.

Aditya seemed to be a fun-loving carefree person, with a strong sense of right and wrong when it comes to lies and cheating. We probably have a reason for his strong opinion in the form his father's infidelity. The same reason molds the nature of the relationship he has with his father Justice Hooda. His relationship with his mom is also a little strained, maybe because of his mom's acceptance of the infidelity and inaction towards it. He seemed more close to Pooja's mom. His dynamics with his brother is yet not disclosed. Now, Aditya definitely loves his wife, considers her his best friend and they have known each other since she was 12. That shows that they probably know each other pretty well. But then it was also apparent that Pooja was keeping some secrets. What are those?? We have yet to find out. We have also come to know that Aditya forgets important dates (But that's normal for the male species.. 😛 I mean I have rarely seen a male who remembers them! 😛... ). Pooja is well-loved by the entire family.

Next, we have Zoya, She is head over heels in love with Yash. It was clear, that she married Yash against the wishes of her parents and her dad has yet not accepted it. Her relationship with her dad is strained at best. Her mom seems to be nice, a poor woman, caught between her daughter and her husband. Zoya's relationship with her sister-in-law Mahi and the invisible mother-in-law also seemed quite strained. Apparently even Yash's family has not accepted the marriage. They have an impression that Zoya may even stop Yash from talking to them. The question is that whether this impression is because Mahi, in general, is negative or there is some other reason. Zoya's relationship with Yash is like a normal couple in love. She has a very strong trust in her husband, which may or may not be misplaced. But then Yash's actions did seem a little fishy.

Apart from the above, I felt, Justice Hooda is a kind of a person who likes to throw his weight and money around. He believes both his money and power can get him things done (which probably is true). He didn't seem very grieved by the death of his daughter-in-law or the distress his son is in. He is more concerned about his reputation.

Aditya's mom understands her son but seems unable to reach out to him. That question "Adi kya tum thik ho?" was the worst ever after such a tragic incident, but it also showed her concern but the inability to do anything about the situation.

Both Aditya and his brother seemed more close to Pooja's mom. The reason behind is yet unknown.

Zoya's Dad came across a little rigid, no-nonsense sort of a person. He seemed little less empathic towards his daughter, or it may be his inability to show grief. We will have to wait and watch.

And now comes the questions... I am not sure if there is an Extra-marital affair or not if this is an accident or a murder, but here are few questions that I have in my mind

1. For whom did Yash buy the ring, because definitely, it was not for Zoya

2. what secrets were written in Pooja's diary, which she didn't want Aditya to read?

3. There was a sign of guilt on Pooja's face. why?

4. Why were Pooja and Yash both in the same car?

5. Why was Pooja in Mussoorie, when she said she was going to Chennai?

6. Why were they holding hands? (Though this an important point in the serial, but holding hand even after the accident and that too after their bodies were recovered was stupid, which I am ready to overlook)

7. How come the autopsy was done so fast?

8. What was there in the report which the Idiotic bribe-taking Doctor seemed to have altered?

9. Is Zoya's Dad involved? How?

10. Is the entire thing an accident or a framed up show?

I hope with time we get to answer all these questions. HC, as usual, is fantastic. I am watcher Jennifer for the first time and she is awesome too.
