I think makers should really learn a thing or two from Americans or Australian or British daily soaps where they give importance to side characters too. I mean story revolve around the the leads of course. However, what are the others? Centrepiece?

I watch pakistani dramas always superbb they not drag story and too much talented makers they make real stories no unrealistic bt in indian serials i feel bad for good actors bcs makers waste their talent

I think non ekta shows are very good at managing an ensemble cast. yrkkh, yrhpk and khkt are perfect examples of shows where they keep a balance between the lead pair and side characters. Ekta shows are illogical, unrealistic and poorly written and characterisation is also not realistic but the only thing that keep people glued is leads’ chemistry. She plays that card very well. No, sorry. I don't watch any of those shows. I used to watch KHKT, but dropped it because I don't like Sona's mother overreaction and drama. I agree. The chemistry between the leads on ekṭa's shows are amazing; she's still the Queen in that.

thats whats hooks me to her show too,the leads chemistry and this is why she is still known as queen in it...illogical tracks are in every shows but what needs to keep running the show is leads chemistry and EK knows her card...the connect i have for her shows couple,to be honest i have none for Non-EK shows couples after a while i find them boring be it RS(male) shows...Gul shows or any other,the chemistry just fades away for me in their drama and i disconnect myself from the show

take an example for BPP,the current is boiling the blood but damn we are still watching for Praghbir and their chemistry thats how EK creates fire in her leads chemistry admist with her illogical drama and you cannot see that kind of magic anywhere else
