"Aaliya look, he's staring, look ,look, damn, the hottest guy of the college is staring at you!!"
"Shush...We are in a library.. ..relax Sanam..."
"You're telling me to relax??? As in seriously??? This has become a daily routine since a month, or two...He stares at you, you try to neglect, but you finally end up smiling at him."
"Yeah yeah I know, Now let me concentrate in' The fault in our stars' I think I wont be able to complete reading it today..."
"Hey hey look...He is coming here.. look ..see he's gonna propose you...Dare you reject it"
"Let's s..."
"Will you be my Valentine...SANAM"said Zain.
"What??''
'WILL.YOU.BE.MY.VALENTINE.S.A.N.A.M?''he asked in a really low voice...audible only to Aaliya and Sanam
"Yeah, Why not??"
"Done then...Tomorrow meet me, here in the library only..."
"Okay!!"
"Hey Aaliya..Please do not feel bad..."
"Sanam..I am happy for you guys.."
14th February ( Valentine's Day)
(Zain and Sanam sitting beside each other, Aaliya sitting opposite to them. Sanam compelled Aaliya to accompany her)
"Hey Sanam, How are you??"
"I am fine. And you??"
"U brought kebaab mein haddi also with you??"
"Yeah...she wanted to accompany me.well she wont disturb us..she is busy with The fault in our star'."
Aaliya could hear them clearly..she thought to herself..."She herself asked me to accompany her.. well I think I must get up and grab some other book"
She stood up and started moving when Sanam interrogated ,"Hey, where are you going??"
"Nothing just going to grab An Imperial affliction'."
"Girls like her read those kinds of books only..." Zain whispered ...he continued " I don't think she will ever read books like safe haven' and all"
Aaliya was furious enough...She quickly rushed and demanded the librarian to give her Safe haven'.
"Sorry dear...Few books are lent and the others aren't available..."
"Hey, listen...you can take this one..." said Riwan..Zain's best buddy
"Thanks"
She started reading it, when abruptly she found a piece of paper in that book.
"I think it's of that guy.. I must return it to him"
She walked towards Rizwan, when she noticed " TO AALIYA HAIDER" written on it.
She unfolded it. The letter read:
"Hey Aaliya... do you remember the first day of college?
Maybe you don't.. but I do.
Yellow kurta with white duppata you had donned on the first day..
You were sitting right behind me in the bio lab..when I had my hand cut,
Even though it wasn't a deep one...your friend Sanam tied a white cloth around it, claiming it was a piece of her duppata.
But I knew it were you who had torn the piece of cloth from your garment just for my sake and suggested her to tie it around the wound .
From that day onwards I was in love with you..
Even a glimpse of you gave me butterflies..
I am writing this letter from the bottom of my heart Aaliya.And on this special occasion of VALENTINE'S DAY, I just wanted to say,
I really LOVE you. Will you be next to be throughout my life?

She was very happy.
But yet a bit confused .
The moment she turned, she saw Zain, and the next moment he was on his knee with a bouquet of letters!!, in front of almost 50 students he said.
"Aaliya...I love you."
Sanam was greatly surprised .She hid her face and walked away.
"Zain, you proposed Sanam right?? Then why me?? And what is this bouquet??Ar..."
"Shhh...let me sort it out..Firstly that was just to teach Sanam a lesson. She was never a friend of yours... Always stabbed you behind your back..made fun of you among all my buddies. So don't feel sympathetic for her . And these notes..I am writing them since two months..everyday."
Aaliya just stared at him,furiously or better say, with tears in her eyes.
She ran out of the library.
"Aaliya ..Aaliya wait"he ran behind her.
They reached near an empty classroom.
"Aaliya wait...I am really sorry. I ... I"
"Stop it..kya zaroorat thi kal Sanam ko propose karne ki?? Mujhe kitna bura laga jaante ho??" still tears rolling down.
"But she made fun of you, and I couldn't tolerate it . so.."
"You know, I am feeling guilty.."
"SORRY..."and he started walking away.
"Wait...where are you going? You confessed, now my turn."
Zain was yet perplexed.
"I love you Zain Abdullah and yeah I will spend my life with you."
Zain's happiness had no limits..he was on the ninth cloud.
He then offered the bouquet of notes to her.
She smiled lovingly and accepted it.
They started walking together..
wohoos' and ohhos' were the only sounds heard.
"Hey Aaliya maine Sanam ko propose kiya toh tumhe bura kyun laga??JALAN ho rae thi??"
"Nae main kyu jalun??"
And they both started laughing after a second's pause.
"Aaj evening mein saath baje tayaar rehna, I willcome to pick you . "
"Why?"
"Arre, bcoz today is Valentine's day and our confession day. There are many more surprises waiting for you sweetie...Be ready."
"Okay my cutie to-be-husband"
And they went to attend the next class.
