Although Osman was a great character to learn from, I really don't have much. In fact, I love BI for Zaya alone. I thought the show was quite sexist and promoted the idea that women could do nothing without a husband( as in the case of nafeesa- why could she not have simply separated from fahad when he first carried an extra marital relationship? And when she took out revenge in the meanest and silliest fashion ever, NOBODY stopped to think of their own sins- surraiya downtrodding a woman, the silence over fahad-shazia relation etc.
In fact I was so happy when Aaliya started her own business, only for her to drop it all without a second thought just because she got to marry the guy she loved. She could have done both business and marriage. That's not the kind of things we need to learn from- the "oh, i'm getting married so I don't need to be independent!"However, I admired her self respect when Zain tried to get intimate. That slap was the highlight! #yougogirlLast but not the least, Aaliya being emotionally blackmailed by parents in the beginning to marry anybody she found at the moment, just so to avoid gossip and "Log kya sochenge?" Seriously, why should anybody care about what others say as long as YOU know what you did is right?Yeah. So like I said, ZaYa and Osman were the only reasons I watched it. I couldn't care less about the others.
