Hi everyone, I have a question.. I'm not sure if it has previously been discussed but I can't help asking.. Before I do, I don't intend to offend anyone but I was just wondering..

Do any of the muslims on this forum celebrate Holi or Raksha Bandhan? Because I'm slightly confused. Beintehaa has been celebrating/showing them both and I was a bit hmmm.. as in I know its festivals but there not practised in Islam?

I cant answer for all but i can say i don't celebrate either

Most likely many others muslims dont celebrate these

i wasnt sure why they had holi? 😕 But it was a good episode 😃

I don't celebrate either, are they religious festivals or normal festivals in India? Maybe that's why they are celebrated in Beintehaa?

Yes Muslims in India do, as they are big holiday in the countries

I personally haven't celebrated either but my niece who is a medical student did go to holi party in Uni and my cousins always buy raki for their brother,I would as well but there's not many Hindus where I live so buying a rakhi is a bit of a issue.

There are Muslims who will probably join in holi party's but I don't think they will throw a party themselves.
