I am so looking forward to the past story of Usman and Mir Khan to unfold.

anyone remember the fusion production interview of the producer in which he said that Usman will bring the truth to the story with immediate twist. I guess he was referring to this. his truth will unsettle dynamics in barkat villa and Zaya lives. I am all up for this.

regarding this Barkat being real barkat, frankly her character doess not look intriguing for me, may be due to her overacting or lack of acting. But if a good actor was chosen and her scenes were more compact it would have been much better. she looks pure annoying saying abbu abbu, bhaiyuu bhaiyuu and looks psychotic at times. where is the justification of her being like this? only because she is daughter of Mir khan who is portrayed as a villain? she inherited all his evil genes that's why she is like this is such a lame explanation as per BI standard.

I do think Today's dialogue of Usman has some reference in future. Zain will fullfill his commitment always if there is no Usman Abdullah. what commitment he is talking about? the marriage one when everything will become messy thanks to fake ya real barkat and Mir Khan or when This Usman Abdullah will become illusion to people thanks to his dark past?

Interesting questions and will be waiting for dhamakedar answers too

Friday is election result day in india. I hope the makers delay the confession because its the high point of this show and it shold be at the right time with more eyeballs hooked to it

Gagan - For me, Barkat's crying during the prayers or her dancing in films did not stress on the fact of her being the real one. Even if she is fake, I thought she may be a good person but has her own reasons to be an impostor. But the last two episodes changed my view.

Payal - I understand what you say about the actor's performance. I know she has done shows earlier but never seen her work before this. Many times while reading the updates, I relate to Barkat but when I watch onscreen I could not connect to her feelings & expressions however I try. I've never been the one to criticize any actor's work for that matter. I'll just watch the show for my favorites and try to ignore others. Sometimes I feel since BI has such a cast who gave/are giving subtle yet impressive performances, its difficult to adjust with her below par acting.

morris, gagan, payel thats some good prediction..

As long as the track isnt dragged and interest level is maintained im all up for this track.. Someone somehow return my Suraiya back plz😭, na i want the evil trio back..

we still have Ghulam angle, that photo clocked between Mir and ghulam also needs to come out and how ghulam will be dragged into this mess should be seen..

if handled well this track could get interesting and how Zain and aliya will stand by their family and support them and each other through all these twits and turns should be interesting.. I kind of have not much hopes from fahad, he has been a disappointment to me right from beginning.. 🥱

p.s: Gagan BINGO on that barkat's tear during prayers.. That had me so intrigued about her character.. kuch toh hai.. May be Mir has been feeding her all wrong notions about usman right from childhood and she isnt someone who can differentiate between good/bad coz of the upbringing.. If she is Mir's daughter then where is Mir's wife??

yes Morris that's the point , her onscreen portrayal of the layered character is not as high standard as other BI cast. All of them are brilliant. Look at Ayat for that matter in Rocky track. I absolutely loved that. But here she looks badly placed among all others and not amalgamated with the smoothness of the story.

the makers could have done better by choosing some one with better acting skills if they were planning to emphasize so much on her character to take the story forward and give it a complete new turn.

I am not trying to read between the lines at moment. However, since people are pointing on to this one dialogue, must say agree with you, Payal!

Just like Aaliya, Osmaan sahab has also got to see another side of Zain during these 4 months. No doubt, he always had faith on Zain but his initial reaction post nikaah made him question himself if at all he knew his son that well? Though he never said it vocally but he himself had insecurities regarding his behaviour. Still he did not lose hope and even Zain did not disappoint him.

And by that one dialogue, this is what he conveyed to Aaliya.

As for Osmaan sahab's shady past is concerned:
Almost a month back, in one of my post, I did mention that Osmaan and Suraiyya intrigued me from the beginning.

Since Suraiyya's character is now dissected (I hope there is more to it), I am very much looking forward to dissection of Osmaan sahab's character.

In that post too I was curious to know more about him. These were my views (copy-pasting the piece):

Osmaan Abdullah, is shown to be a sophisticated business tycoon who is still connected to his roots and culture through his sister and her family.

He clearly acknowledges this by expressing that he desired either of his sons would accept and perform day-to-day cultural norms. But clearly this never happened. Surprisingly he himself is not shown to practice any of those norms 😳. I wonder why?

🤔 ... may be he does not want to offend his family? May be he compromised his routine as he started out on his business journey and later at some point regretted it? May be he realizes that somewhere down the life he is loosing out on his tradition and customs? ... And there can be many more such may be's!!

yes Nels I remember your post as I reserved in that thread. sorry could not update further.

yes his character is also a layered character like the leads. A business tycoon with sophistication, class, sensibility and kind heart. That's the persona shown, but now it will be interesting to see is it the face or the mask? he came from a humble background just like Haiders and Mir khan , but how did he climb the ladder of success? is there deceit, depriving others , betrayal involved just like success stories have in real.

I am so looking forward to this twist yaar as I know that the actor will do absolute justice to it.

regarding Mir Khan, more than Barkat I always wanted to know his back story. It seems its in the offering and this twist will open like a can of worms and Abdullahs has some skeletons in their closets beneath the glossy barkat properties.may be the unfolding of this mystery will change our perception to characters too. May be we will find us sympathising with Mir and barkat aka bobby.

whatever it is, bring it on makers, accelerate the momentum and give us the major twist.I have faith in you.
