"Ouch. Ouch. Ouch." Zain kept saying all the way up to their room. His one arm was around Aliya's shoulder and the other around Rizwan.
"Shut up Zain," Aliya told him, bored with his continuous chanting of Ouch'. "You don't get to shut me up Aliya, it's because of you that I'm in this condition," Zain said but was interrupted by Aliya, "What? What did I do? Don't put the blame on me for your mistake Zain Abdullah."
Flashback:
Shaun and Rizwan had come into the room to call Zain for their weekly football match which they held every Sunday. Zain just came out of the shower and was wearing his shoes when Shaun noticed Aliya pressing the clothes.
"Aliya bhabhi, would you like to come with us to play football?" Shaun asked her hopefully. Aliya didn't want to disappoint the poor guy so she said, "I won't play with you guys but I'll surely cheer you guys. Is that okay?" Shaun nodded enthusiastically while Zain turned a blind eye and a deaf ear towards the happenings. He was used to his so called friends sticking up for their bhabhi and supporting her over him.
Turns out, there were many more people than the friends who had come over who played football and Aliya knew basically no one so she stuck with Zain, Rizwan and Shaun. Spotting Shaun's girlfriend in the stands, she joined her, glad that there was some other girl with her.
As the teams were made, Aliya figured that Shaun and Rizwan were on one team and Zain on the opponent team. Throughout the first half, both the girls enthusiastically cheered for Team A, that is, Shaun and Rizwan's team. A little into the second half, the girls saw all the guys gathering around someone and they went down to the field to see what was happening.
Turns out that Zain had pulled a muscle out of the blue when he tripped over the football. Since he couldn't play, one member of the opposite team had to leave to and Rizwan obliged saying that Aliya can't take Zain back to the house alone.
Flashback ends.
"Speechless are we?" Aliya asked, snapping Zain out of his thoughts. "Not speechless, I just decided not to argue with you." Zain told her.
Rizwan told them, "Peace guys," bored with their never ending fights. He really was surprised that they hadn't killed each other by now. It was weird to him that they lasted this long though. He was pretty sure that there wasn't a day that had gone by without them fighting.
Sighing, he went along with them to their room and almost ran leaving those two there.
"Why did Rizwan run out of here?" Aliya asked Zain. "He was probably bored by our fight, nothing new about it." Zain told her.
"Now are you going to tell me how you really got your muscle pulled or are you going to keep blaming me without a reason?" Aliya told him, sure that he was hiding something because Zain never backed down from a fight.
"No Aliya, I'm going to blame you and not tell you the reason because you should know the reason yourself. I didn't know you were so dumb," he told her. Aliya glared at him and left the room to spend some time with the kids.
"Zain beta, aaj toh bach gaya. If Aliya had known you tripped because you were hypnotized by her, you would never have heard the end of it. Thank god for the quick mind I have." Zain muttered to himself. "What the hell are you saying Zain? Hypnotized and by that maamu ki bhaanji? You have to have your brain and eyes checked," he reprimanded himself and then tried to doze off but his sleep was being interrupted by the same woman who had walked out a few minutes ago.
