Having experience with a lot of disappointing shows, the present Promo had very little effect on me actually. A closer look from your side about Zain that you have made all seems to be true.👏 Let's hope that what we have analyzed is what the creators also create. Sometimes it happens we end up defending a character more they even thought of writing. But if they are reading all this, they should get points that as a viewer, we are well committed to their show and they give us our worth.
I know what you mean, I have had those experiences too, for some reason I believe Beintehaa doesn't fall in the same category. The characters are good...and i am not expecting a mess up so soon, they are interesting, the build-up is stunning. In the past one month maybe 2 episodes disappointed me, that's all. And at that rate, the show is doing good. My expectations are sky high for a show to be good. I love Humsafar, Dastaan and Shehr-e-zaat. I don't think I would ever call any Indian show perfect. Nope they all fall, yet I watch them as long as they are good and keep me engaged. I formed my opinion based on what I saw, now if I am reading too much among lines, then that leaves me laughing coz i would be the one over analyzing, I talk a lot anyway :/ Besides, if Beintehaa people read the forums, then I do hope they see what kind of fan following they have and what are its expectations.Coming to my views on Zain.
He is a typical laadla of the house. You can see no one at his home tries to control him. Not even Suraiya directly. She couldn't stop him from going to Bhopal, because she has only so much control and power over him. He is now an adult and he makes his decisions. He is not used to a lot of obeying strict rules at his home.
Yup he is the decision-maker. He is the ladla of the house, being the younger one. Suraiya as a mother, I can say doesn't know her son, she thought Zain would never go to the orphanage, her face was worth-watching 🤣
Also as mentioned in the show repeatedly, Zain and Aliya are very similar. Just like how Aliya decided to sacrifice everything for her father and his good name, Zain did the same to not bring a bad image for his father. Their only difference is that, as a girl, Aliya is able to try to adjust as much as possible. Zain is not able to cope up. She is trying to make the best of the situation, for better or worse he is her husband now. But Zain cannot see beyond the fact that she broke her promise and has altered his life forever.
This is what I put upbringing on, Why is Aliya trying to adjust? Because she understands the sanctity of Nikkah, while Zain doesn't.
I am surprised they are bringing in drinking into the show, not shocked, but surprised. I am not familiar with muslim culture drinking, cos I am generally told they dont. Correct if I am wrong there. But Zain seems an exception since he grew up in London for 6 yrs and has been a little bit of a playboy. Clubs, parties, vodkas must have been unavoidable. But doing so at home IS the twist to the show. I don't think even Suraiya would have expected it.
Drinking is Haram, it's a sin. You know how Arnav, Dutta, Rudra all drink, how people think oh they are drowning their miseries, but the reaction people gave for Zain drinking, this is where it stems from. Alcohol is a big No No in Islam. A muslim no matter where he lives, should be intact with his basics, but since Zain was never given any knowledge of his own religion, or never bothered to be told, he seems to drink. Also in Indian Culture, Drinking is not something appreciated or taken in a positive light.
And I like your point about his being against marriage. His brother's marriage must have set some example i think.
Yeah I wonder what he thinks.
At the end I think, all Zain wants is control to his own life. He must be the only to decide and alter it and no one else. This is like a death to his dreams. Now he cannot leave aliya home and go to Bangkok partying can he? He cannot date around with any girl he feels attracted. And with every incident on the show, he is loosing more control.
Exactly, Zain loves his freedom, I think he does realize being married puts a huge responsibility on him..which is why he wants to get rid of it.
I like all this hype actually. Because if he could hate someone with so much passion, imagine how that passion would be when he is in love with her! If tomorrow he suddenly turned a new leaf and started accepting Aliya, then I think there is no point to the show is there? None of us would be satisfied. I want Zain to fall in love with Aliya for who she is, a person who is just like him.More than his hate, lets just look at how he expresses his hate, childish. Zain doesn't truly hate Aliya for the person she is, although thanks to Suraiyya hes getting some misunderstandings and is ruling her out as bad..but he is soft behind her back, on her face he is rude, he wants her to get out of his life, and the only way is by making her believe there's no hope for this marriage to work.
And there are so many future tracks I can plainly see from the last 26 episodes.
1. Suraiya being a famous head chef making her son's favorite food, while Aliya makes excellent home made food. There is gonna be some competition and jealousy there when Zain will love aliya's food. Such a typical scenario, but yes remember the kheer? 🤣
2. An obvious triangle where Shaziya's sister might try to "seduce" Zain. I want Aliya to be a possessive wife. Jo mera nahi, woh kisi ka bhi nahi. I want this track to happen before they fall in love. LOL! OMG That would be 🤣
And I have forgotten the rest which came to my mind while watching the show. 😆😆😆
I think that's enough from my side. I don't wanna go on and on and on...
Thanks! Thanks for posting in, it was nice to know ur insight into the characters 🤗
After reading your post, I actually don't find anything wrong about the ongoings in the show😳
Will remember to think in the characters' perpectives before jumping to conclusions about the episodes henceforth😛
