a gift should really come from the heart, so this one may be a forced gift but later when Zain realises what Aliya means to him we shall see a pure gift not expensive but simple

It depends whether he has to give it infront of family or when theyre alone or whether his dad gives him get gift like you know. It's the circumstances but it would be great if he makes up for it later ;)

^^that gift is usually given alone... and usually on the wedding night...its usually when the dulha sees his dulhan properly for the first time after marriage and that to alone...

I don't think he will to be honest... he's clearly angry with her so giving a present to her will be the last thing on his mind.
