Part 1
The episode begins at Shamar's house where Purva asks Shamar what he meant. What have you understood that I was not able to understand. It is a very straight forward thing, shoes, chappal, mark, sign with these things you cannot find out if someone is ours. We find out if someone is yours through their heart, dil se. What do they say emotions, feelings. Akashi tells him what do you know about feelings? Shamar tells her I did not know it before but after my mother got a heart attack and when you came to call me that is time I came to know about it. Don't think that because you came to call me that is why I came but I came because I felt that my mother needed me. I felt it in my heart, mother-son, brother-sister, sister-sister all the relationships are connected through the heart. Not from shoes or chappal, you'll went to find relationships through shoes and chappal. What is for me, it is your problem you'll figure it out. Purva thinks about what Shamar says, those words keep repeating in her mind.
At Mihir's house, all three sisters come to Purva's room. Prem is in the cradle playing, Purva goes near him. Akashi tells her di do not take Shamar's talk to your heart, he is just like that, he will never change. It is my mistake I should have not taken you home. Aashta tells Karan that same baby is crying. At the same time Karan gets a call and he answers his phone and is talking to some Khanna. Aashta is telling him look that child is crying so much. Karan just goes away from there. Aashta tells herself no one is quieting him down, is anyone there? Purva and her others are upstairs, Akashi wants to go near Prem but Purva stops her. Aashta is calling for Purva, Auntiji and Purva tells both her sisters to keep quiet. Aashta cannot take it anymore and she runs up the stairs. Purva and other sisters all hide. Aashta runs in the room and asks Prem don't cry, how will I quiet you down, again she calls for someone. Purva and her other sisters are peeping to see what is happening. Aashta is trying to quiet Prem down by showing him his toys. Prem is still crying and by then Mihir and Kameeni aunty see them. Aashta is carrying Prem and is trying to quiet him down by singing the twinkle twinkle little star rhyme. Mihir and Kameeni Aunty are walking towards Purva and her sisters. By then Aashta has calmed Prem down and is singing the lalaby that Purva wanted her to sing. [SHE KNOWS THE SONG THAT HER PARENTS USED TO SING – MAYBE THIS CONFIRMS THAT SHE IS SMIRTI]. Everyone is just shocked and are not able to move. Everyone comes to the room and Aashta/Smirti is still singing the song. She gets up with Prem in her arms and she is shocked to see them. She tells them, he was crying a lot and I saw around there was no one, so I came here to calm him down. She puts Prem down and she sees the garland on the floor and she tells Mihir the garland has fallen from your wife's photo. Mihir and Kameeni aunty look at Purva. She tells Mihir put the garland back on Smirti's picture. Mihir puts the garland back on Smirti's picture. Manik comes there and tells Mihir that Dr. Dev has to come to meet him. Kameeni also leaves from there. Purva asks Aashta how do you know the lauri, Aashta tells her I do not know it is a very famous lauri. It is famous but only among Gujaratis, but you are not Gujarati. Yea I am not but there a lot of my neighbors who are Gujarati and they keep humming this lauri. This is nothing new to me, but why are you asking me this. Aashta tells Purva I am going to talk to Karan not sure where he went all of a sudden.
Part 2
Purva serves tea to Dr. Dev. He asks Mihir now will it be possible to win the case. Mihir tells him we need proof to show that during the murder that man was present there. He is very cunning, he did not leave any proof. Mihir tells him no there is proof, why don't we do a DNA test of his hair. If the blood matches to his hair then the man was present there and all the truth will come forward. The Dr. says if that is the case then I will do the DNA test. Mihir tells him do it quick, I will wait for your phone call. Purva is listening to all this. Mihir tells the Dr. now the report comes forth this case will be in our hands, do the test quickly I will wait for your call. The Dr. says okay and says he is going to leave. The Dr. leaves and Mihir asks Purva what I just saw before it confirms that you still do not believe that she is not Smirti. Mihir tells her please Purva stop all this, we will all benefit from this. Mihir leaves and Purva goes after the Dr. She asks the Dr. you were just talking to Mihir about the DNA test, what is this DNA test? We all have unique DNA's when we have to find a criminal, for example on the dead person we find blood. With the use of the DNA test we can find out who the blood matches to. Purva asks him what if the blood mark is very old. We can use that to test the person's DNA. Purva tells him wow this is great, where can I do the test. First it was only in few places but now it is everywhere but it has to be in a lab. All we need the sample, hair, nail, skin. Is it possible to know if that sample belongs to a person, samples only match if they belong to one person. Purva says thank you and leaves and the Dr. tells her Mihir was right, in his success you play a huge role, you take a lot of interest in his work. Purva tells him no just like that. The doctor leaves and Purva says DNA test. She goes to Aashta's room where Aashta is combing her hair. She asks her are you going out, Aashta tells her yea, Karan is going out and I have heard that in Baroda you get a lot of nice things so I am going shopping. Purva tells her let me comb your hair, Aashta tells her no its okay. Purva takes the brush from her and tells her I am your big sister right, I used to comb Smirti's hair. She makes Aashta sit down and Aashta tells her arre I can comb my hair. Purva tells her by the way you say the lauri really well, felt like you have sang that song lot of times before. Aashta tells her no I did not sing it that many times but I have heard it a lot of times. You know when I was a child I could not sleep without listening to the lauri. Purva is looking at the comb to collect Aashta's hair. Ohh and you know when my kakki from my neighborhood used to come she used to make me listen to the lauri and I got the habit of it. Aashta is putting on makeup and Purva is looking at the comb. Aashta looks at the mirror and tells Purva what kind of hairstyle did you make, I do not like straight hair, it does not match my face. She used to have her hair like this right, okay for today I will leave my hair like this. Aashta says this to make Purva happy and then she tells her that she is leaving. Purva takes the comb and the saree with the blood stain (flashback). Now if the hair from the comb and the blood match then Aashta will not be able to lie to us. Tomorrow is Smirti's birthday.
Part 3
Dr. tells Purva I am not denying your request and I understand your feelings but you are doing this behind Mihir's back but why. Purva tells him that I think Aashta is Smirti and she tells the dr. everything. Purva tells the dr. that she needs his help, if he helps her out this way the truth will come forward, I will get my sister or I will be to believe that she is Aashta. Okay I will do your work and I will not let Mihir know about this. Purva asks him how long will it take, dr. tells her that it will take a day or two. Tonight I have to go abroad for a conference but my lab assistants will do the work, you do not worry. You will take the report tomorrow.
Akashi says tomorrow, Purva says yes tomorrow we will get Aashta's DNA report and I am so sure that the blood and hair DNA will match. After this Smirti will not be able to lie to us and tomorrow is Smirti's birthday and on this occasion I will tell everyone the truth and she will not be able to deny it. Anoki tells Purva what if the DNA report is negative, Purva tells her I will believe that she is not Smirti but till then I will not give up trying. Till then you will not stop me but you both will support me. Akashi tells her okay I will support you but not because there is any relationship between me and Aashta but because of the relationship I hold with you. Anoki tells her that she is also with her. They all look at Smirti's picture and Purva tells them I am just waiting for tomorrow and the morning sun rays bring Smirti back.

Akashi is telling Shamar that I came to ask help from a person who is of no use. Akashi walks away and Shamar asks her so what is the work. Akashi turns around and Shamar tells her don't think that I fell in your trap, since you helping our my mother I want to balance things out. So tell me what is the work, Akashi tells him you have to become a human. They show Shamar wearing a suit (lol, he does look good in the suit…. 😊)
