I think the brothers are merely asserting their gunda type identity where they invent their own laws and values.
I'm pleased that the characters integrity is sustained and in keeping consistent with the flow of the show. Ie they aren't going to convert anytime soon solely for the sake of romance.
This is good storytelling because it keeps the viewer on edge, and runs the gamut of human emotions beyond the swollen and overused romance stories. Instead the characters are steeped in menace and a that naturally sits well with their dispositions. They are led by their passions and don't think twice when it comes to obeying their oppressive mother, which makes them unpredictable to the point of being dangerous. If the story is diluted down to Ananya and her dynamics with the 5 brothers it would bring the intensity to another level because it would involve Ananya in all her courage taking on the brother rat-pack of 5.

aj ka episode funny tha and i enjoyed it a lot.. mayank itna kamina hoga mene socha na tha.. iski band bhi bajegi.. garv aur amar kitni gandi nazar se dekh rahey hai anu ko😡.. happy shanya ne rings pehen li..😳.. precap me kitney achi lag rahi hai anu and sarey dulhey bhi😆

I personally enjoyed the scene where the ring was being passed down, so much foreshadowing happened. It did give me the chills by the fact that they were each eyeing Ananya who remained blissfully innocent, the background tune heightened the horror of it. It was a well played out scene. I think many of u have interpreted their looks as lustful but to me it was more them casting their 'you're in for big trouble and you don't even know' kind of look
I also liked the scene where MT takes the mickey out of Samar for his lame idea. Was quite funny to watch. 😆

@bold- Yeah, me too. I thought it was more of 'let us destroy your life' type. Lust will come just a bit later, I think.

Thats their plan to destroy her inside out, the music signals the begininng of that as they each take the ring and gaze at her.. Im really looking forward to how they indivdually interact with Ananya.

I agree on it not being lust but rather them sizing their prey out, the music really sets the tone for the stalk and attack strategy. Infact MaaT and the Thakur boys remind me of a lioness and her cubs, stalking & then hunting in packs.
