I think peoples views on pairing up varies- it doesnt necessarily have to be a romantic pair
you might just have two people together sharing amazing chemistry without it becoming a typical boy and girl falls in love and all is smooth going between them
A problematic relationship with many tensions between the couple is much more interesting than a lovey-dovey/candy floss everyhting is fine kind of relationship
It also needs to fit into their Bihari type roles, these lot are gundas at heart, raw, anti-hero types and Ananya is their opposite and well.. you know what they say about opposites.
