Hi...firstly we should not generalize like this but ya you do have a point , I have also noticed that many girls do fall for dark, hot, bad boys. I am an ardent follower of a very popular American show which is a love triangle, there also the hot evil brother is more popular than the good brother, most of the fans of that show want the girl to fall in love with the bad brother just because he is hot and a bad boy, so they keep defending his evil deeds as well😆 I am not generalizing anybody but in general I have seen that yes many if not all ,girls do like bad boys😆 it's just an observation and my opinion, not generalizing anyone.

I agree I shouldn't be generalizing but like u said, I observed the same in many forums whether it's was maan, abhay, slok, Arnav, Bajaj, angad and many more, the list is endless. People fall for them, slok would manhandle astha, but audience finds it intimate and passionate, hot.

I have not seen most of the shows you are talking about I absolutely understand your point. You know the American show which I watch, the bad brother has committed many evil deeds and is shown to be extremely selfish, his only concern is the well being of the girl and for that he can even sacrifice the girl's family and the good brother is shown to be very compassionate and caring, still fans of the bad brother keep defending his wrong doings by saying that he was heartbroken that's why he did it, he will redeem himself, he loves the girl so much so what if he is self centered, they just keep defending him and even praise him for it and are proud of the fact that they support him which I really can't understand why !!!!!. Sometimes it really gets on my nerves😆 and you know what I always fall for the good, compassionate one in the love triangle😳 and most of the time I end up being part of the minority fandom. 😭
What is more sad is now even the writers and CVs listen to the more vocal ,popular fandom. Even in that American show The girl initially chooses the good brother but later she dies and gets resurrected and then due to fans' pressure the CVs changed her personality completely and made her choose the bad brother over the good one, in order for her to choose the bad brother CVs completely altered her personality and ultimately the show's ratings went down the hill as the heroine no longer remained the moral compass of that show.
This is what ruins the enjoyment of watching a show, CVs listening to more vocal fandom alter their story lines. I just wish the CVS and writers should tell the story the way they want to and not get swayed by popular fandoms and thus alter their story lines and their endings. It takes away the authenticity and soul of the story.

Sorry for my rant but I just needed to get that out😆

@anshvi, I know which series you are talking about. I also could not digest that "U"-turn and that was the precise reason why I've left that series. Even though I liked the evil brother's portrayal, but I have always supported the good brother and the girl together. When the creatives forced the girl's personality to change altogether and paired her up with the evil one, I called it a day. But this always happens. My choices also force me to end up in the minority group only and that too again and again !!!!

@tanvismile, I left "Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon" - S2 (I have watched a few episodes intermittently as it's telecast time never used to match with my office timing.), only due to the fact that it was too much for me to watch a so-called husband manhandling his wife that sadistically. That was simply domestic violence as far as I am concerned and I was literally astonished that it was being telecast on a front-line channel !! I was so disgusted that I left the series altogether for good.

I really hope that the creatives of this series come up with something indigenous & logical and do not derail the original story-line and the characterizations in order to incorporate love-stories (whether it's LP or PP); as I have mentioned in my earlier posts.

well.. i know this argument will never end ..you can get so many examples of any scenerio to prove your point..but problem is people want to hear what they want...

I never found a person including laakhan shipper who are saying that laakhan is right...is any?? even if some1 said they love laakhan than its coz they can see some inner shades in him which are not out..its everyone choice whom they wanna ship...if priyom character dont excite me than its my choice and if laalhan character dont excite you...than you can hate him...no one is pressurizing anyone...but if you want that priyom liked by you than all will like or laakhan liked by me than it must be liked by all..not possible... as opinion changes with every person..

No one..not a single laakhan lover saying that he was right but they are trying to see why he did it...than its not a problem as you can think, write express your views on forum..

And no one is forcing any creatives channel to change story plot.. but appreciating someone acting is not fault also.. if someone praise vishal on twitter for his wonderful portayal of laakhan..than nothing wrong in it... and all of my frnz in my circle..mostly are laakhan lover..no one is demanding #laakham forcibly as they want real plot..as serial much more to offer..and having fandom is not a fault...

And frankly speaking..no one change plot on basis of online fandom..its my past experience...its all matter of trp..they make serial for money...they have nothing to do with fandom..they jst watching which twist work for them and how to boost up rating..and if rating not good then they end it with a name of happy ending to jsr for sake of fandom...fangirling , fandom makes actor happy but their characters are not much affected by it..

So if we like laakhan...and wanna know why it happen..than its our choice ..but we are not supporting his acts...and this forum is place where we try to explore scenes in deep..otherwise no meaning of visit here..we can simply watch it and fine with it...we are here to discuss why it happens...which deep meaning in this scenes...

So if you dont like laakhan post and their facts than its so much easy to ignore ..

and to be frank..no one in begusarai is saint..they all are faulty somewhere including man woman...and when kingdom will be built on blood..than it will destroy one day..reason can be any

PS:Advance sorry if anyone hurt..its my own opinion

@Chandrima - Awww same here., again and again I find myself in the minority group and because CVs listen to more vocal fandom I have to watch my favorite ship sink time and again 😭 I don't know if its right but since you know which series I am talking about then you know what, the lead heroine is leaving the show after this season and so sadly the fans of the girl and the good brother will never see their reunion sadly. I wish writer had not ruined the EPIC love story that was of the good brother and the girl..For me that was EPIC, TRUE LOVE and the scene where they were on the roof where he gives her the daylight ring, for me that's how the show should have ended😭

i think you shouldnt generalise people when you dont know them. i do like the hot mahco type, and the sweet type. it all depends on the character that seems more interesting. and i love laakhan's character but i still said what faults were in him, and i clearly stated that him torturing poonam is neither passionate, or tolerable, they are simply disgusting.
and as far as i have seen none of the laakham supporters found that act of his charming, infact majority of them didnt like that scene and didnt enjoy him torturing her.
just cause we like laakhan's character does not mean that we laakhan supporters ignore his devious acts.

Hi
I totally agree with you that Vishal is a fabulous actor, in fact I admire his acting from Saural Simar Ka days, I don't think anywhere here said that Vishal is a bad actor😕

Of course it's your choice no body here said said that you can't like Lakhan and have to like Priyom at all costs. We all know all characters are flawed, the difference is some are redeemable while some are downright disgusting beyond the point of redeeming. We all were just sharing our observations with one other.

The American show which I watch, it has a hardcore fan following and their people use social networking sites to pressurize the CVs and writers to pair up their favorite characters together, You know even there was a particular scene that they wanted in the show and the CVs bowing to the fan pressure actually incorporated that scene in the show. Even the channel admitted that due the constant demand of the fandom they had to make the girl fall in love with the bad brother asap, for that they even framed a new storyline to speed up the process as the fans were very demanding. That's my experience from that show which I shared here.

I totally agree that TRPs play a very huge part in shaping the storyline. Even when that show's ratings dipped still they went along with that couple fearing if they separated them they would have faced the fans' outrage.

I don't think anybody here has stopped anybody from discussing. We all can share our views and discuss with others, that is what the forum is for.😊
