I know right now everyone will be fuming at munshi for plotting against Ani. But was Anirudh right in what he did? Not questioning his intention since he wanted to save Sampoo's life. But as she rightfully asked him, was his bond with Saurabh as a friend and a namesake brother greater than a father son bond or that of a husband wife? He did overstep his boundaries when he decided to perform his last rites. As a father who lost his only son, I can understand y munshi wants revenge. It was Saurabh's father's right to bid him the last farewell but Ani snatched it. He could have stopped the sati using other means. Given Ani's stature in the society, munshi would have allowed Sampoo to not commit sati but what Ani did was wrong in my opinion.

I am completely in accordance with your views on this .What Anirudh did is somewhat unjustified in spite of his noble motive behind it.Munshi and his family were entitled to perform the last rites of Saurabh .They could not only bid him a proper farewell, but also the trauma and mental breakdown at their dead son's disappeared body! This is not a joke.He could definitely have resorted to some other means, his tark, his chillam chilli, verbal combats, physical rifts, even threaten Munshi of unemploying him.But no,the makers have to do things the other way round .

Agreed with you completely.

He could have thought of another way to stop Sati. Infact, even after doing cremation rituals he didn't spoke in brief about Sati, the whole episode was very thanda for me except emotional Anirudh caressing Saurabh's face before putting fire to his body.

I know Saurabh's family was weird and never stood for him the way Ani did for Saurabh. But blood relation > friendship or brotherhood.

I agree Saurabh and his dad had their share of differences but at the end a father will always love his child the most. Ani should realise he can’t have his way all the time.

Makers love drama. Instead of killing Saurabh they could have sent Sampoo and Saurabh to Kolkata. Post leap they could have roped in older actors and brought their characters back. But makers need to turn someone into a vamp. So out goes Mini and in comes Sampoo 🤢

They are making it so dramatic. They could have easily shown Sampoo's journey as a widow by the help of Bondi Ani but instead he had to do something weird to create the revenge drama.

I know. In real life which sister will go after her sister’s husband just because she became a widow? It’s unfortunate Saurabh died to save her sister’s life but didn that little kid end up in a brothel? Just to safeguard her cowardice. The first few episodes of this show were so progressive it compelled me to watch and for a split second I thought here is one show that may not cliched tracks but alas! With Mini becoming a typical vamp trying to kill Trilochan or now a positive character like Sampoo becoming a vamp and eyeing her sister’s husband I have no expectations from this show.

When the promos came I really loved the concept. It was about a man making a woman find her place in the society that too in the era of Gandhi ji. The first episodes were really good. Even the dialogues were so powerful. Couldn't miss a single second of the episodes. I really thought we will see the journey of Bondi becoming a barrister and fighting for the village issues but here all I see nowadays is personal issues like Mini trying to fool everyone to get Ani back then her revenge drama. More than showing the mehnat of Bondi getting her place in the school it was all about Mr. And Mrs. Greenwood plotting and planning. Now another revenge from the worker and the cousin sister. I think they lost the essence since the track of the fake Krishna.

Hi there 😊 I enjoyed reading your posts in other forums before. Thanks for replying in my thread. I so agree with you here! This show was about a young girl embarking on a journey of empowerment and paving the way for a revolution for other women. But all I see is meaningless planning, plotting, saas bahu drama and what not Bon is a typical Gopi bahu now. All innocence gone and acting like a grown up wanting to sacrifice her life for senseless adults who don’t have the spine to stand up for themselves 🤢

Anirudh was wrong in doing the last rites when the family was there to do so. He should not have taken things in his hand. Completely concur on that and the senselessness of the drama that is now to continue.
