I always think this but it relates in the present society.

Nowadays in most families both husband and wife work. After coming back from work wife has to cook and do all the household work too. If both are earning why can't husband too help in the household work? Is wife a servant that she has to do all the things by herself???

I know they will not touch this as earlier days onle male worked. Sorry this was not related here either.

They may touch this aspect in future when bondita starts studying and Anirudh practicing. I think they will.

Few additions from my side:

1. Discrimination towards so called lower castes.

2. Untouchability. (Extension of the above issue, though)

3. Girls having no voice of their own. A patriarchal society that can't hear 'NO' from a women even when it comes to their marriage.

4. A hypocrite society in which women has to be covered in veil but expecting her to defecate and bath in open. Why? So that Purity of the house is not affected. (This issue is still prominent in rural India , although situation has become better after launching of Swaccha bharat mission in 2014).
