About aniruddh apologizing and saudamini crying I think it's normal. Saudamini was expecting a marriage proposal and what she got news of Anirudh's marriage. Anirudh right now thinks he loves saudamini so he is heart broken. So both are in pain.
About chemistry between them I never felt that since there was no such scenes between them to show they were childhood lovers.
That scene is right but makers should have shown some love story between saudamini and aniruddh so that we can relate with the scene.
