I much preferred it when Divz called Amar by his name! Back in the SV days I wanted Vidya to say Sagar- but that was Vidya's character to say 'suniye'- I may be the only one but I think Divz should maintain that modern-ism and keep calling Amar- Amarr- it was soo cute when she says it. 😭

As someone else said, she said 'suniye' to try and take him back to their past life but I also hope she keeps to 'amarrr'.

i like that she doesnt hesitate to say his name...she has no such qualms/restrictions ... but she chooses to say 'Suniye'. deep!
its one thing to pay respect because you have no choice in the matter (because of socialization, norms or whatever) but showing respect through absolute free will and choice...that is the sign of a strong person.
i like 'suniye' and 'aap'. some ppl see it as a sign of subjugation...some think it's cultured. just personal choice, i guess. 🙂

I loved how she wanted to give him respect, there was so much love in her eyes! 🥰
My sister-in-law gives that sort of respect to my brother as well and its out of choice. She still calls him by his name but with that 'aap' tone...in Gujju instead.

That is so sweet! More so in real life! 😀
On the flipside, i LOVE that Amar has no demands of Divz ... she can call him Amarrrrr, tum, whatever, for all he cares, and he'll go fetch her breakfast, lunch and dinner in bed all his life... ha ha ha ha! But when she does do all this stuff, he is floored! SOOO CUTE!!!!!

Oh I don't mind 'aap' or 'suniye'- But I liked that about Divz- when she thought of him as her equal- Amarrr! 😜
