FF: Hum n tum, Perfect kahani! upd pg1

hey guys. how r u all? This is priya here. I am going to start a new ff. Please coment on it after reading. Please forgive me for any mistakes as i am not a writer at all

Let me start with the Introduction of a few new characters
Vidya: A very sweet, smart, fun-loving and talented girl, but sometimes she could be very stubborn and naughty. She was born and brought up in a very rich family in Washington, USA. She is the youngest person in her family. Though she loves her family a lot, most of the time her family takes her for granted. Vidya does realize this, but never accepts this fact being true. Being the youngest, she has never received much affection from her parents like her older sister and brother got. But yet she remains to find happiness in the slightest spark of things. She has a sophisticated yet simple(and sometimes crazy) outlook on life.h and she is a pre-med student.

Vidya's family:
Asthi Rao: V's mom, very sophisticated, demanding, has a huge self esteem(a little more than necessary)
Varun Rao: V's dad, a huge buisness tycoon, fun loving person, is very obedient to his wife(in other words he fears for his life, if he doesn't listen to his wife).
Snigda Rao: the oldest among all the siblings. Very snobbish nature, has attitude problems
Arun Rao: Vidya's big brother, a confused person.


The scene begins off by a circular shot of room which looks no less than heaven. A breeze of air sneaks inside as white satin curtains fling away from broad shiny windows. The reluctant air flows across pink smothered walls and dives through elegant furniture. The impish breeze stirs around a white velvet bed as it unwillingly tickles a divine beauty sleeping peacefully. A ray of light sparks upon round hazel eyes as she gently opens them. Her delicate soft hands brush across her face as she rises herself up to sit. She gets up and slides her bare white feet into smooth velvet slippers and strolls in front of the mirror. As the mirror captures her reflection a mist of air finds its self lost as it remains behind lusting on her beautiful face. Brown silky hair blows impatiently onto her face as her hands pull them up tightly into a ponytail. The peaceful atmosphere in the room suddenly disappears as an abrupt knock is heard behind the door.
Servant: Vidya Mam please wake up, Asthi mam would like to talk with you right away.
Vidya: Yes I am awake, can u please tell her I will be with her in five minutes?
Servant: right way mam.
Vidya: (looking into the mirror) Not bad vidz, you look Ok today.
She gets ready and goes down stairs into the luxurious dining room
Vidya: hey guys Good morning. What is going on?
Vidya's Dad: nothing much vidz, we were just discussing about…..
(gets cut off by V'mom and gives him a stern look)
V Mom: nothing beta, we were just wondering if you had any plans for summer vacation?
Vidya: nothing mom, as far as today nothing has been planned yet. Bu….u…t(gets cut off by her mom)
V Mom: thats good then, well do you remember our discussion about dad's brother's son getting married sometime this summer.
Vidya:(with a confused look) um…. Yaa…..
V Mom: well your cousin's wedding has been scheduled sometime in the third week of June. And unfortunetly, none of the four of us could go this summer. Leaving only you left. Actually beta the thing is that every one is too busy to attend the wedding and stay there for about a month that your grandfather put a condition in front of us.
Vidya: what?!!
V' Mom: one of us will have to go and attend the wedding in order for the rest of us to day. And since you have no other things planned. I think….. no. you will be going to India this summer.
Vidya: Mom for a month that too in India. No ways I am not going their mom, I think you should find someone else coz I cannot stay with dad's family for a month. Do you remember how much they troubled me last time we were there were two weeks.
V Mom: Vidya, I have not forgotten anything. You are going and that's final. I don't want to discuss about this anymore.
Vidya: but mom… how could you just send me off becoz no one in the family wants to go.
Vidya's face becomes sad and her dad notices this.
V Dad: Asthi, why are you forcing her is the poor thing doesn't want to go.
V's Mom gives him a stern angry look
V Dad: I mean if you want her to go then… Vidya hun you should listen to your mom. I mean ya its absolutely right that you should go and represent our family. We will join you after three weeks. And waisey bhi its been about 5 years since you've been to India.
Vidya: but mom I was thinking of joining a summer camp along with my friends. Now do I have to go to India??????? Please Mom, not me again.
V Mom: No Vidya, Its finalized you are going to India! I will get your ticket booked in a day or two. You will be leaving next week itself. I don't want to hear any arguments anymore.
Vidya turns to her dad for some help, but her shakes his dad very helplessly.
Vidya: fine then if you guys want me to, then I will go there. But I have a few conditions. I should be allowed to go to nani ma's house(Vidya's maternal grandmom) whenever I want , I am allowed to wear my miniskirts and normal clothes I wear everyday.No one should object anything and I don't want them to restrict me from going anywhere like they did last time, the uncles, aunties and whosoever are there, I want some freedom for my self and lastly, Ritu aunty is not going to force me to cook!
V Mom: don't worry sweetheart I will talk to them. Wait did you just say Ritu asked you to cook?
Vidya nodes a yes
V Mom: how middle class is that. If your family is up to making my daughter turn into a typical bahu, then Varun she is not staying there.

V dad's get up from his chair and says " Don't worry girls nothing like that would happen, I shall personally call back home and request them to treat you happily. Now please smile for your father's sake. Give me a vidz special"

Vidya smiles: thanks dad. Anyways where are snigda and arun?
V mom: Oh snigda left for her London seminar in the morning and Arun is inside the gym. Ok take care you too. I am leaving. I have a special meeting to attend today. Oh and Varun, mind me for forgetting. One of your close friends, raghu, Raghav? Something like that called up last night. He wanted to speak to you, but you weren't there. I told him to call back again on your personal phone. Did he call you?
Vdad's face lightens up, "you mean Raghir called up, Oh my god its been such a long time since I have spoken to him"
Vidya: really how long dad
V dad: Two weeks hun"
"That's a long time dad?" " Yes Hun, I used to speak to him everyday!" Vidya looks at her mom, while her mom just rolls her eyes. " Well than I have to go now bye" her mum hugs vidya while leaving. " Oh just look at that I will be late too, Bye pumpkin pie" he leaves bye hugging vidya very tightly making her food fall over her spoon "Umm dad you are kind of squeezing me" " Oh sorry, but take care of bye" "Bye dad" she screams" Finally I have Some time for my self, waisey I wonder what Arun is doing right now"

She finishes her breakfast, and walk for fifteen minutes to head to the gym in her house. She reaches there and finds Arun burning his calories off "Hey Arun, Whats up?" "Hey Vidz, Good morning, How come you woke up so early today" "I don't know, but something caught my eye and I just woke up" " Well atleast something or the other woke u up" vidya goes and sits down on one of the gym chairs. She sighs. Arun notices this "Whats wrong, why are you soo not cool today?" " Why am I not cool?, because thanks to everyone in this house I will have to go to India, and that to for a month" "Oh so you're the one whose going, Mom was talking about that yesterday Don't worry, It wont be that bad, all you have to do is have Patience" he teases " Ya right, It is easy for you to say, I so cant stand Dad's joint family for even a bit, and imagine me staying there for a month, I will be dead!!" she says in a complaining voice

Suddenly Arun mobiles rings " hello, hey Tania baby what up?"he signals to vidya to leave she understands and leaves. Vidya calls up some of her friends, and they all go shopping in the afternoon. The next day, Vidya finds out that she is leaving the day after. She unwillingly packs up hers bags. The time comes for Vidya to leave, Eyerybody gathers at the airport. Her mom gives her a list of things to do and not do while around, her dad tells her to ignore her mom and have as much as fun as possible. Vidya boards on to the Flight.

Part 2:

Vidya boards into the flight that goes to London , which will connect her to the Mumbai flight. She finds her seat next to the window and sits. " I hate the window seat!ahh, why me. Vidz looks like tumharri burhi wakt is going on and I cant believe Mom is actually sending me, or sent me and here I am in the flight, going to a world of weird people" she thinks hopelessly. The flight is almost near London . Vidz falls asleep

MEANWHILE……………… in the London airport, near the customes counter.

We see a tall, firm figure with black hair wearing a black leather coat and blue jeans facing his back against the screen. "Can I please Have a ticket to Mumbai?" the strong voice asks " We are sorry sir, all the tickets have been sold out for Mumbai. There is only one seat left and that is the buisness class seat sir. And is I am not wrong, I think that seat is reserved too" says the lady near the counter. " Sagar, Sagar what are you doing here, Mom has already reserved a ticket for you but" a man exclaims while running to Sagar " But what, I forgot the confirmation receipt at home, sorry" " What are you saying, you forgot it at home?!" he starts thinking

**Flashback***

"Beta, your dad's friend's son is getting married this month in june, and he has personally called us to come, as you know eversince your father started going around on his seminars, I have maintained all his connections as much as possible, Unfortunetly, our new chocolate is releasing next week and I cant go. So you will have to go beta. And don't say you won't go, because you have other plans. I have already reschedueled everything for you" "But mom, Plz" " Don't say anything else sagar, plz understand and go there, we both will be joining you in three weeks" "Mom..mom..mom…"
** Flashback over****

"Not a problem chinu bro, I will handle it" he gives chinu a naughty smile and turns back to the counter. " oh its not a problem if you don't have any reservation left, I just want to know your name beautiful" the lady in the counter blushes " Marie" " Oh marie, what a wonderful name, and oh thats such a wonderful bracelet, can I see it" the lady gives him her hand, he kisses it" but the hand who is wearing it is more gorgeous" lady blushes even more" huh, such a diamond like you should be on the big screen, what r u doing here, beautiful?" he says that leaning closer, chinu rolls his eyes. "all the producers and directors in the world are soo blind not to take a gem like you in their movies" she blushes more and says "thank you" " Well, I am afraid I will have to go now gorgeous, I am running a little late", he kisses her hand again and is about to leave "one. Two.thre…" "hang on sir" the lady calls out " I knew it he turns" he turns back putting a flirty smile on his face. "Sir You can have the ticket for this reservation, the person hasn't shown up yet and don't think they will either" " oh I don't.. I mean I. I don't think it is right you kno" "Oh please don't say anything else sir, please accept this from my side" " well if you insist gorgeous than I will thank you soo much" " you welcome anytime sir" she says staring at sagar deeply.

Sagar leaves along with chinu " I should say, sagar, you flirt a lotttt" " I know" sagar says revealing his dimples. "but you know what, I get better at it day by day" "will you ever change?" "no, I don't think so" " if you flirt with so many girls, how r u going to get married to one" " you know what chinu, I don't think one will fall for me so, it will be a little hard to manage I guess" he laughs " Ok, that's enough Sagar, we will see about that" " sure whatever bro, ok then I will leave now, Bye chinu" " bye sagar, and oh please spare those more Mumbai girls please" " I will try to" he laughs and leaves
Vidya

Vidya wakes up, leaves the plane, and is walking in the terminal very slowly as if her feet are being hammered into the floor, to get to her next flight. Suddenly she hears her name being announced , so she starts running heading near the boarding are. Sagar is walking in front of her and is about to take a right to the boarding area. Vidya unknowingly Bumps into him, and they both fall down. Vidya's passport stuff falls out of her hand, she reaches her hand to pick it up "Hey excuse, me can you not watch where u are going" a stern voices asks her, she gathers her stuff and looks up. Sagar is about to say something but his eyes stop him, as they meet another pair. He looks up and sees vidya, whose hair was blowing on her face with an amazed look "Wow" he thinks in his head "what an amazing beauty" " Umm, hello Its not my fault that you cut throw the walking traffic and got here, that made me bump into you" " what" he says mesmerized " look her dude, I have no intention of bumping into you, are you listening" he comes to his sense "hello, stop yelling at me, it was your fault to run like that, this is not a track field madam, just for you kind information" "Excuse, me ya learn one thing yourself too, this is not a club house where you could just roam anywhere you like" both of them start fighting until the security guards come and split them apart. They split apart and Vidya goes back to her " unwanted" window seat. Sagar searches for his seat and is shocked to find his seat next to vidya. He smiles, put his bag inside the luggage compartment and sits down without making a sound. Vidya turns her head to find sagar sitting next to her. " you" she exclaims " ya me, oh sorry you!" he tries to imitate her, "what are you doing here" she exclaimed "sitting in my seat, any problem" "yes, there is you are my problem" she calls a airhostess " Can you please change my seat to anywhere else" " I am sorry mam, I am afraid that there is no seat available, except.." she whispers something to sagar, " he nodes his head. " There is a seat where you might go mam" " thank god" she takes her stuff and rushes out where she sees sagar get up, and sit in the seat where she was seating. "here you go mam, you could sit here". "She angrily looks at sagar who is laughing like anything, but is trying to control that. "thank you" vidya says helplessly. The airhostess leaves. Vidya sits down and buckles up her seatbelt "oh god, how on earth could I sit next to him for 14 hours, I guess I will just have to get used to it" she thinks hopelessly. The plane takes off. Sagar starts to read a magazine, he gets bored of it and thinks "hmm.. this girl looks like some fun for me, but I'll let her anger cool for a while" he looks at vidya who was working on her laptop. After some time, the airhostess calls vidya up to the front for a phone call. Vidya is about to leave but something stops her.
