šŸ˜† gosh what a discussion !

guys guys plz give nazmul a break ...I think he meant that Divya of all people shudn't assume for others and take away other' right for making decisions by becoming a martyr.....when he said especially lawyers , he meant it like a compliment ...lawyers are more logical u know , compared to laymen , and this is a fact . I read it that way ....and not coz he agreed with me .

Reemz...u know wat I think...she didn't take a decision for Amar consciously .....but yes , she did decide for him unconsciously . In the whole process , all she knows is that Bindiya loves Amar bas . There r many aspects to this whole thing that Divya really didnt think deeply about ....in her attempt to be nice to Bindiya and wipe away her tears , she just hurriedly got up to flee from Banaras . In the process she forgot that her acqaintaince is with Amar , not Bindiya . It is Amar who saved her , it is in Amar's house that she lived , it is Amar who desrves an explanation for abrupt leaving......Bindiya she has met thru Amar only . So u see , even in this sense , it is a rather insensitive step ....although i love Divya's character .[Actually i love both dearly .]

LOL I dont think we were throttling nazmul. Just discussing thats all. šŸ˜‰

I think more than anything Bindiya's words have had a huge impact on her. She thought that Amar had changed his attitude towards Bindiya because of HER! She isnt trying to get Amar and Bindiya together but merely stepping back because she thinks she has come in between. I personally do not think she has taken a decision for Amar because he has already told Divya how he feels.

I'm just trying to put myself in to her shoes and if I was not sure about my feelings like Divya then I most probably would step back for a woman who claims I have come between her and 'her man'. According to Bindiya, Amar and her had a chance till Divya came along. How would that make Divya feel?

And I still dont get the lawyer arguement, it doesn't seem to fit in the arguement here.

Well to this i can only say this much... if another girl came up to me [ Divya] and told me she had a chance till I came along , and I have observed during my stay that the guy [ amar] really didnt give this gal much bhav....I wud have sympathised with the gal but privately based my conclusion on my own personal exprience , and discussed it with the guy , to whom i owe more explanations than the girl , as it is with him that I am connected by my stay there .
Perhaps it is here where the lawyer argument came in from nazmul....point being , Divya is educated , a lawyer , and shud show more rational conclusions . Logic is expected from a lawyer ...the profession demands an inherently rational mind . Perhaps his original point was this .
The rest of the discussion [ about NRI mentality and lawyers] was purely subjective and not related to the topic . 😊

hmm a lot of interesting points made here..
I also think that Divya merely stepped away because she genuinely doesn't realize her feelings towards Amar. I don't feel as though they are truly "in love" YET, attracted to each other for sure, but as far as the love we witnessed between SV originally..AD have a long way to go. :)
From an outsider's perspective, when Bindiya accused her of taking Amar away, her character felt that she was at fault..especially under the cicumstances in which she found Bindya in. Bindya made it seem as though Amar and her had something before she stepped in. I do agree though that yes, if she wanted, she could have confonted Amar and asked him what the truth was..but right this moment, she doesn't feel the need to, she doesn't realize her feelings, and maybe she feels Bindiya is right for him subconsciously. She is not acting for Amar..she is doing what she believes is right, maybe she doesn't want to get involved in a love triangle? All plausible answers..
One more thing, when it comes to emotions, normally people don't think rationally..and yes this is true for even lawyers, believe it or not..they're not robots! if that were true, there'd be a lot less shrinks in the world! In the end we're all human, and we are prone to err. We should also keep in mind that this is a show! it's to make us laugh and forget our own problems, so we shouldn't take everything so personally or seriously =)

Denial, my dear, is a wonderful plot device. šŸ˜†

she does have feelings for him but internally, it's not on the surface yet..maybe she was crying b/c she still sees him as a friend..and you don't leave a friend under those conditions, it was hurting her to do that to him..to lie like that..
