On the other hand, Divanka's co star Sharad Malhotra , who plays the character of her on- screen husband, will be shown as a semi literate tourist guide in the holy city of Varanasi on the banks of Ganges. He, too, is going to don a new look which will be in consonance with his role of a guide.
Sharad Malhotra's character in this new avatar will be known as Amar and will pose as a brahmachari, who is very popular with women and children. To a certain extent, the characterization of this new Amar has been done on the lines of Aamir Khan's role in super hit bollywood flick 'Raja Hindustani..'
