Following the leap in Dulhann, the serial will concentrate more on Sagar –Vidya's love story which was liked by the audience very much. Also, some new characters are going to enter while some older ones' children will be show.
"We are expanding the scope so that we can show some new stories. Some of the older characters will be dead but we want to keep options open for us so that we can show their tracks in the future. Also, there will be more members in the family which mean additional tracks," explains scriptwriter Mrinal Jha.
Elaborating about Vidya-Sagar, she says, "We want to stick to that old flavour. They are a much loved couple so we are rekindling that. Sagar will now be seen in a village with a different look but his innocence which was his USP will be retained."
She adds, "We started Dulhann with Sagar-Vidya's marriage and then showed how they fell in love with each other after the wedding. But now we will try to focus more on their journey of falling in love with each other. Their look and treatment will be fresh."
About Sindoora, she reveals, "She will definitely be there after the leap but she will be even more evil now. Her son Bharat will be a young guy and her husband will also be there."
Considering the leap, a few characters have left the show. We have come to know that the younger generation will also feature the child of Shalu and Chinoo.
