He came into the acting industry by wowing many with his talent and beating out hundreds of other aspirers through Zee's Cinestar ki Khoj, along with his co-star, who is the female lead protagonist of this serial. Now, both are winning the hearts of many in Zee's and Telly's No.1 Serial, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann.

He has an affinity for sports and has won awards in Calcutta for cricket and in his school... not to mention, he has also won awards for "Face of the Year". His favourite colours are red, black, and white, and his idol is Shahrukh Khan...

I hope you know who I am now, yes, I am the Ammu who bugs you so much with loads of e-mails in your inbox, and the one whom you sent a msg to on her birthday😳 What can I say... so much of my praise and words for you are written in my e-mails, so when I want to take out time to pen a nice message for you birthday, I really had to sit down and think hard to say something different and exciting for you...

You've made Sagar who he is today, and I'll say that if wasn't for you and Divyanka with your sizzling chemistry as Sagar-Vidya, Dulhann would not be where it is today. Both of your chemistry is just so natural and so beautiful, I love seeing you two together😳 You have so many mannerisms of SRK which are so many plus points for you, and cos he is my favourite actor as well😳😳 When you open out your arms in a performance for an Awards night, I remember SRK in "Mitwa", when you smile with your cute dimples, I remember SRK's smiles... But even though there are those similar factors, you've carved your own niche, and you are so, so talented and I hope you continue to wow us all always..
