Afterthoughts- Buckets of Glycerine

Ok.. so I made many posts today stating my disappointment with the episode after reading the update. Well, I have finally watched the episode and I am sorry as much as sur gives such detailed updates it is not the same as watching the actual episode. After watching the episode I actually feel this episode was awesome. Not as disappointing as I made it sound.

Vidya's speech was awesome. Her translations back and forth between english and hindi was well executed. Her dialogues were such heart wrenching.. I was actually crying the whole time with her. She was basically pouring her heart out in front of the whole world announcing how much she loves him. In the entire scene even with her english sentences you could feel the innocence. She finally spoke up and proved to Sagar the extent to which she loves him.

The song sequence... I do not feel that it was placed unappropriately. It was actually very fitting. I had never heard the whole song but the lyrics of the song perfectly suited the scene. The part in the song where it goes "I'll take away all your tears" and he is wiping her tears of and then he holds her hand when he is singing "I'll give you all the happiness in the world." It was so perfect. I don't know if the dance part was needed but the placement of the song was very nice. I actually liked it after watching the episode and it did not really seem that sudden after all.

When Sagar apologizes to Vidya, he actually says he is sorry about everything and the fact that he should have trusted her long time back. I now understand Vidya accepting his apologies and hugging him. It would be out of Vidya's character to not have a big heart to forgive him. She just said she loves him and would do anything so forgiving him is the natural thing for her to do because even after being "literate" she is still the same Vidya who finds it in her heart to forgive. Sagar did look really guilty though and I am sure we will see some sequence where he does stuff to make up for all the pain he gave her.

Also, Sagar has still not said ILU so we know he is still taking his time. He only said he realizes how much she loves him. Asking Buaji for her also makes sense now. He did not really ask her for Vidya. He told Vidya that he is saying in front of everyone that he wants her. In other words he was telling her "I want you." Kinda cute IMO.

Overall, after watching the episode my thoughts have changed and I now think this is one of the best episodes we have had in a while. The best part about the episode was Part1: Vidya speaking, Part2: Dance, Part3: Sagar speaking. No one else spoke during the whole episode and I loved watching Sindoora's shocked expressions...

hi nehlove....dahling, no1 can ever bore us, when talking about S-V...i have just pasted my views below, from the written update forum..

i wanted to reserve my comment till i saw the video...now that i've seen it, i've to say i wasn't disappointed at all....

about the song sequence, what wonderful lyrics to convey sagar's inner turnmoil, his emotions, his love...logical as well, because he loves music so much, remember initially SM telling Vidya that music will be her 'Saut' (mistress)?....through the song, it went through a sort of role reversal between S-V..earlier, Vidya was always taking pains for Sagar, and in the song, it went the opposite way...i suggest everyone watch it, before thinking it was ill contrived, believe me, you might change your opinion..

some other things that stood out for me

- vidya's breakdown....divyanka is a brilliant actress..no one else could have taken this character to such heights, while showing its naivet, the love for Saagar, her hurt...my god, i am confident she's gonna give all leading actresses some tough competition in awards... 👏 👏

- i loved this part of Vidya's speech the most "I thought a person's character, her nature, her manners, her behaviour, all this is above a language" ...what a wonderful dialogue....makes all those falling for anglicized external appearance a fitting reply!!!

- Sharad wasn't far behind in the acting department either...the shock and guilt on Sagar's face, when Vidya finally says "I've realized you don't love me, I should accept this fact now"...he was just too good emoting those scenes.. 👏 👏

- when she's leaving, Sagar's heart actually seemed to stop her, call out to her, even before he could say it out loud....how hopelessly he loves her... 😳

- best bits, apart from SV scenes, was that Sindoora di kept her mouth shut throughout

- among the supporting cast, loved Buaji, Chinu-Shalu, Aniket, and even Mahua...rest should be thrown out of the house, asap

a brilliantly enacted episode overall....i was kinda happy they didn't drag the fact that everytime a protagonist has to win, the vamp succeeds instead..

lets see how S and V cope with all their realization and confessions about truly, madly deeply loving each other...hoping for some great scenes and chemistry....now the biggest challenge is to fight all evil forces together, which may not be easy, given Sagar's unconditional devotion to his Sindoora Di...

yay neha...im sooo glad u finally for to watch the episode...first off..how does it feel? didnt he look hotter in episode thn the pics? and no wonder she gave in na? his speech or the way he said sorry was sooo amazinggg....so touching.....and did u see his expressions while she was giving her speech? my heart had definetly melted....

and now tell me the truth...how many times have u watched the episode already? 😉😛

^^ Sharad and Divyanka were mindblowing in the episode.

Divyanka's expressions when she was all heartbroken.. that of betrayal.. her realization that her husband is accepting her.. Sagar has finally accepted her.. Each part was sooo well executed by her. She truly has taken this character to a different level.

Sharad was too good as well. He looked shocked when she was speaking in english and then guilty when Vidya finally broke down and poured her heart out. The moment where she says she is leaving you are rite his heart was calling out for her before he did. Even during the song and afterwards during his little monologue there was feelings of guilt and realization that he has been wrong.

Kudos to Divyanka and Sharad for doing an amazing job and thanks to Sindoora for shutting up the whole time.

I am glad you finally got to see it. As I told you before after the first time you melt..the more you see the more your heart goes out to them..They were that good..

I have written why I loved it. But I still feel the song was melodramatic.The song's lyrics were very apt but bollywood style protraying was inappropriate in my view..it was such an intense moment..at that point the spot light and the wind was odd in my view..

Loved SV's acting..or, God knows may be they weren't acting at all. Specially the article today hint something else...

Can't wait for tomorrow. I just want SV to go away for a drive, movie and dinner, and I want Sagar to say what he sang today!!

yupp....they were both mind blowing....tht is for sure...if it werent for them...i think i would quit watchin the show...i can never ever imagine anyone else play their roles...neverr....

Like I said I totally understand why she gave in and man... he looked sooo damn hot... Too hot to handle. I wanted to be Vidya when they hugged. I was like.. me me.. I wish it was me... My heart definitely melted away

Ok so you want the truth.. Well, I watched the episode once at work and then I loved it soo much.. I took my laptop with me and kept it on repeat and played it on my way home (dint watch it but their voices were enough to make me go crazy)... I am sooo crazy..😳

Maybe the song wasnt appropriate but oh well SV dont make you think of the situation. Their chemistry makes you forget about everything and lights up the whole screen. Maybe because they dont act at all and its all naturally felt 😛

I hope they do have some cute SV moments tomorrow. I suddenly have more faith in the writers now.. lol

yup...i wish i was vidya too.....like i had said this morning.....i wanted to replace vidya in his arms....haila neha btw...accident nahi hua achha hua....yeh SD ki vajah se one day one of us will hurt ourselves...u knw i did the same...in the lab...we cant have our laptops...cause of all the chemicals and stuff...and i told my coordinator tht i needed to do something veryy imp today and ill keep it away frm the work bench....and so....here i am...sayin i have to do "imp work" and i keep it on mute...and i watched the episode...basically drooled over sharad....too much na😳 but kya karu....raha nahi gaya.....sure u knw wht i mean...😳😳

^^ We are mad... we should be more careful though warna kuch ho jaayega toh Sharad thodi hume bachane aayega... Woh rest kar raha hoga Divyanka ke saath. That or who knows rest karne ke alawa aur kya kya karte hai dono saath mein. lol
