Sharad the next Shahrukh?

Hello hello....

Okay we all know what a great success story SRK is ... climbing the ladder of success starting with Television... in everything he did he excelled... and Talent can never remain hidden... he was discovered and later he conquered the hearts of million....

Now let's come to our very own Sharad ...aka Sagar of Dulhan... he is such a powerful actor.... let's recap here...

Playing an eight year old child he made us all believe in his character... we loved him for his little mischieves.. we laughed at his silliness... heck even now when I think of the moments from when he was playing a child it makes me smile... he definately made this character unforgettable. He set the standard for playing a mentally challenged person a lot higher for any actor who attempts it again.

And now when he is playing the angry and arrogant Sagar Pratap Singh... he is a new person.. in just a matter of days...he totally flipped his acting upside down. Just look at yesterdays episode... the way he tightened his jaw as beads of perspiration formed on his forhead when he turned his head to avoid watching Vidya leave... made us all sad, angry, and drool at the same time 😉 ... His character at this point in time is confused. He does not know what to do with himself, or his life. And his acting makes us believe in his character. We don't know whether to hate him for the way he treats Vidya, or to feel sorry for him for what he is going through... and that is exactly how his character feels... to listen to his heart or mind... and only a great actor can make his viewers believe in his character so much... to feel what he is feeling at the same time...

Wow Sharad you are an amazing actor...Sharad mentioned in one of his interviews that he will have Ekta make a different type of show just for him... I say dream bigger... why not be another SRK... and conquer bollywood with your immense talent!

Hello Saregama_Fan, Sharad is an excelent actor..! He is also very goodlooking.. Nobody knows.. He could be.. But just think that he has to beat up much of good, talented, goodlooking actors in whole bollywood. You see, Shahid Kapoor is acting a bit like SRK.. And he is more populair than Sharad. But I think he surely can but after a while..(His entry in bollywood) And u know, evrything is possible.. 😃 Cause he has to reach a top.. just like srk 😊

Just hope so for him 😃

Yes...he can be another Shahrukh, the only holding him bck though is his bit of smugness, which comes across in interviews, I know he probably isn't even aiming for that to come across but it does, and that is the one thing he just needs to get rid of. If and when he does, he is the next superstar! 😳

You are right... I mean SRK even despite all his success... even today in his interviews seems like such a down to earth and humble person.. and I think that has added to his success... but as for Sharad being a little smug.. maybe he is just really into his character "Sagar pratap singh..." I mean he is playing the role in real life too so his character is all the more believable... 😆😆😆 ....I know really lame excuse.. but what can I do... I am "latoo" over Sharad ...😳😳😳 ..and as of now find the little attitude that he has kinda cute... 😳😳😳 ... crazy isn't it 😳

Well he could be. He is hardworking, acts really well, great looks and has the right attitude to survive in the industry. I know he is a big fan of SRK but I hope he never tries to imitate him. SRK had his own style and thats what people loved.

SRK is always saying he's the best. 😛 Which he is but he has a down to earth attitude mixed with slight arrogance.

That's true, Sharad along with Divyanka have great acting skills. He proved that he can do two roles. It's not easy to change your role just like that.
I also think he shouldn't try to be like SRK and just be himself. At this rate I think he'll become really big, he just needs to cut down on the smugness as Meera di said. 😉 Otherwise he's an awesome actor. 😳

yup! i totally agree with u! he shud not imitate srk cos srk has his own style and way! just like that sharad shud be like srk! but i also agree with wat meera di said that sharad is a bit smug unlike srk! who is a very awesome and down 2 earth sort of person! and thats why i love him soooooo much😳

agreed, sharad shouldnt act smug if he wants to get far, but at the same time im kool with it
at least hes confident in himself and his abilities, which is a valuable quality for an actor to have, and i believe he said in a recent interview that he had tried acting like sumbody else b4 but now hes just gona be himself, so let him be himself then, its better that he doesnt pretend, thats just sketchy
Also if u ask me, i thnk he may just be this smug at present cuz hes so overwhelmed with his success n the success of his show that he must be thinking like hey, this is all happening so fast,its unbelievable, n then as a result hes likely attributing his success to his own personal acting abilities n strengths, which is of course a big part of the equation, but its also divyanka n their chemistry, and of course his kismat, so hes prolly thinking like hey, im so dam gd, look at how far ive gotten in not even a year! wow! but once hes experienced a lot more n been thru a lot of more challenges, his smugness will likely die down - thats my opinion, wt say?

ummm...thanks to Reemzdi, saregamapa_fan, noodles, and nabu, who all agreed with my point that even if Sharad is acting smug, he just needs to cut it down a bit, to get to srk's down to earthness! 😳
